The Powerful Iron Body

So it didn't take long for the two men to start struggling to hold on. Even after their subordinates arrived, it made no difference.

Chen Qiang completely ignored the others' attacks and focused solely on the two men. Whether they attacked him, dodged his strikes, or tried to get to the other side to call and inform their leader, Chen Qiang always appeared in front of them and attacked.

The battle didn't last long. After just over ten minutes, the two minor leaders of Cipher Pol were covered in wounds from Chen Qiang's relentless blows.

Throughout the fight, the two had used Iron Body to withstand Chen Qiang's attacks, but it hadn't done much good. That was especially true later on, once their injuries had piled up.

Before long, under Chen Qiang's relentless assault, everyone from Cipher Pol lay on the ground, covered in blood. Judging by their condition, they were barely breathing and wouldn't live much longer.

"Buru! Buru!"

Just as Chen Qiang had finished off the Cipher Pol agents, the Den Den Mushi they'd been holding began to ring.

Chen Qiang picked up the phone but didn't speak. He'd wanted to hear what the person on the other end had to say, but, to his surprise, they didn't speak either. After waiting a while without hearing anything, they simply hung up.

Chen Qiang was briefly dumbfounded, but soon figured it out. The other party must have realized that their subordinates had been dealt with, which was why they'd hung up. As for how they'd known, they probably used some kind of code when calling each other, so the other party could quickly understand what had happened when they didn't hear it.

And given Cipher Pol's nature as an organization responsible for covert missions, once they knew their subordinates had run into trouble, they wouldn't say anything more, to avoid leaking information.

So this is what the real world is like. These organizations aren't as ridiculous as they are in the anime.

After dealing with the Cipher Pol agents, Chen Qiang began setting things up in the empty city, preparing to make this city of sin disappear from the world for good.

It took nearly an hour for Chen Qiang to finish preparing everything. Just then, the small clone he'd left by the docks sent back another message: a warship had arrived at the port.

"Boom!" "Boom!" "Boom!"

The warship that arrived at the port didn't send anyone ashore. Instead, it opened fire on Copperfield, sending cannonballs flying from the ship and crashing into the city, where they blasted huge craters into the ground.

"They really don't play fair! But since they've come, there's no reason not to go ashore!"

A cannonball landed in front of Chen Qiang. He cut it in half with a single slash, then shook his head and looked toward the docks outside the city. The corners of his mouth lifted into a meaningful smile.

After smiling, Chen Qiang raced toward the docks.

"Keep firing!"

The masked CP3 captain continued directing his subordinates to bombard the city ahead with cannonballs. He didn't notice the blood on the docks slowly beginning to flow down and spill into the sea.

It quickly flowed toward the warship, and soon the water around it had turned bloodred.

"Blood Sea Surging Waves!"

"Boom!"

The sea had been relatively calm, but the blood-covered waters began to churn like boiling water.

"Get ashore, now!"

The Cipher Pol agents aboard the warship noticed the disturbance beneath the surface and quickly gave the order.

After the order was given, everyone on the ship dropped what they were holding and jumped off, landing on the docks.

The moment they had left, the bloodred water surged upward and swallowed the entire warship. By the time the blood-red waters disappeared again, the ship had sunk to the ocean floor.

But that wasn't all. Once the agents had jumped onto the docks, blood began seeping out of the corpses Chen Qiang had piled there, faster than before. Outside the docks, it formed a huge red barrier that connected to the cavern overhead.

"Blood Rain!"

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Drops of blood swiftly broke away from the barrier and shot toward the Cipher Pol agents. In midair, the droplets had already transformed into tiny arrows.

"Iron Body!"

Faced with such a large-scale attack, all the Cipher Pol agents who had disembarked instinctively activated Iron Body to block the incoming strikes.

"Boom!"

At that moment, an extremely loud explosion rang out. Sometime earlier, a red gem had been embedded in the ceiling of the cavern. As the agents blocked the Blood Rain, some of the arrows struck the gem, setting it off.

The explosion made the entire cavern shake. Countless boulders fell from above, and in just a few breaths, they had buried the entire dock, blocking the city's only way out.

Fortunately, the Cipher Pol agents were mostly elites. As soon as the explosion began, they reacted and quickly fled the docks, avoiding being buried beneath the rubble.

"Looks like the blast wasn't powerful enough. But if I gather all these explosives together, I should still be able to bring the whole place down!"

Chen Qiang had already rushed to the city gates. Seeing that his move hadn't blown up the entire passage by the docks as he'd expected, he felt disappointed. But he'd brought out all the explosives in the city, and with the red gem Toby had made earlier, bringing the place down should be no problem.

"Shave!" "Finger Pistol!"

As Chen Qiang watched the explosion and wondered whether he'd gathered enough to flatten the place, the man who looked like the leader vanished from where he stood. When he reappeared behind Chen Qiang, he jabbed a finger forward, and the force of the blow pierced straight through Chen Qiang's body.

"It's no use!"

Chen Qiang didn't look the least bit frustrated after being pierced. In fact, he was smiling. His long blade flashed as he turned and slashed at the other man.

But clearly, the man's mastery of Iron Body was far beyond that of the previous two. Chen Qiang's slash only broke a little skin; it didn't even leave a proper wound.

"Thud!"

After Chen Qiang's strike, the leader simply withstood his attack and swung a fist, landing it squarely on Chen Qiang's head.

If Chen Qiang's physical strength hadn't already reached a monstrous level, his skull might have been shattered outright. Even so, the blow left him feeling dazed.
