Background / History

Tang San monitors the Douluo Continent from the God Realm and treats Huo Yuhao—the Child of Destiny—as essential to restoring the Tang Sect, maintaining continental stability, and reinforcing his own God Realm position. When Huo Yuhao's intended connection to Tang Ya and Bei Bei is severed, Tang San discovers an unfamiliar Shrek Academy protected by a barrier he cannot penetrate. He responds by ordering Da Ming and Er Ming to enroll his daughter Xiao Qi at the new academy as an observer. 15 73

He initially rejects the academy's Soul Tool-based development, believing that cultivation, martial souls, and Tang Sect hidden weapons are the proper path to strength. Although he considers seizing Soul Tool technology and adapting it into Tang Sect weaponry, he ultimately permits Xiao Qi to attend the academy so she can monitor the unforeseen “variable” within it. 17 104

Tang San becomes increasingly alarmed by Tang Wulin, whose Blue Silver Grass martial soul, dragon-type bloodline, and golden soul rings do not fit his understanding of the continent's destined order.
