Liu Feng handed Ice Empress another grilled fish and smiled.
"Thanks, Ice Empress. You taught me the meditation method so carefully and thoroughly."
Ice Empress gave a quiet snort, lifting her chin proudly.
"I only did that because I didn't want you thinking the meditation method of the Ice Jade Scorpion Clan was bad!"
"Among all the Soul Beast clans, our Ice Jade Scorpions have the best meditation method!"
Ice Empress took the grilled fish and turned her back to the other Ferocious Beasts, trying to keep up appearances, though she ate very quickly.
The Ice Bear King chuckled under his breath.
"Liu Feng, she's embarrassed..."
"Xiao Bai! You're asking for a beating!"
Ice Empress snapped in exasperation.
The Ice Bear King dropped to his knees at once, without a shred of dignity. "Aunt Ice, I was wrong, I was wrong..."
Liu Feng suddenly stopped smiling. He lifted his head and gazed at the sky, thick with dark clouds.
A dangerous aura pressed down from above.
He sensed terror!
"Run...! Get out of here!!!"
Liu Feng shouted.
