Where Qin Xa was stood a fragment of the material universe that had been peeled away.
This fragment of reality lay at the very center of the Realm of Slaanesh, resembling a glass sphere the size of a human thumb.
Tzeentch and Slaanesh, these two Chaos Gods, circled the "glass sphere" like storms of different colors.
For the moment, they were allies.
The Chaos Gods did not fight among themselves forever. Occasionally, they would engage in brief cooperation that was doomed to collapse.
Once, Slaanesh, Nurgle, and Khorne had joined forces to strip some of Tzeentch's authority from him. Now, Slaanesh and Tzeentch were working together against the other two Chaos Gods.
The reason Tzeentch and Slaanesh could cooperate lay within the fragment of reality surrounded by the Chaos Gods.
"It is a spectacle!" Tzeentch cried. "I already helped you peel it away from a reality on the verge of destruction, and what did you do?"
Tzeentch sounded as though he were demanding an answer.
"Me? I sent a capable subordinate into that reality to disguise herself as Qin Xa and raise Angron," Slaanesh explained.
"Oh... yes." Tzeentch burst into laughter. "That is not good enough... but it does not matter. For you, that is already the best method you could possibly imagine."
"Do not force me to throw you out, Tzeentch!" Slaanesh called him by his true name.
Tzeentch ignored Slaanesh and began to exercise one of his powers.
As the strongest of the Four Gods, Tzeentch could place a restriction, a spell, an array... within that bonsai-like reality. Nothing could accurately describe what Tzeentch was doing, because his might surpassed every category by which beings of reality classified the use of psychic power.
Yet in the end, this method had only one simple purpose—drawing upon Qin Xa's thoughts
