Ten Consecutive Draws

Aragaki Yasushi didn't fly far before he retracted his Origami form and dove into the nearby woods to hide.

Floating in the sky was far too conspicuous; he was basically a moving target.

Besides, his Origami form had a fatal bug: it was afraid of fire!

If any Iwagakure ninja got desperate and tossed a Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique his way, he would be reduced to ash instantly.

Getting taken out by a basic jutsu would be a disgrace to every transmigrator in existence.

After landing, Aragaki Yasushi oriented himself and took off at a sprint.

The Iwagakure camp had just been blown to bits, and those guys would be coming after him sooner or later. If he didn't run now, he'd be a turtle in a jar.

He hadn't been running long before he spotted two familiar figures in the woods: Asuma and Yuhi Kurenai, who were waiting to provide support.

"Yasushi, mission accomplished?"

Yuhi Kurenai, the young girl, was the first to approach. Her eyes held a hint of anticipation, and her voice was soft, forming a sharp contrast to Asuma, who stood nearby with a sour expression, acting like a tough guy by smoking despite his young age.

Asuma wore a chunin flak jacket, arms crossed, a cigarette dangling from his lips as he rolled his eyes.

"Do you even have to ask? The commotion was so huge, I bet the entire Iwagakure camp was blown to the sky. I could feel the tremors all the way out here."

Aragaki Yasushi nodded, his tone calm. "I wiped out their warehouse."

"But we need to move fast. Once those Iwagakure guys snap out of it, they'll track us down eventually. It'll be trouble if we get surrounded."

The three didn't waste any more words and immediately headed toward the Konoha camp.

Asuma took the lead to clear the path; after all, he was the "Crown Prince," with a solid family background and reliable strength.

Yuhi Kurenai, who excelled in genjutsu, walked in the middle, protected by the other two.

Aragaki Yasushi, being the strongest, took the rear.

Originally, Aragaki Yasushi's strength couldn't be called trash, but it was definitely quite average.

But there was no helping it—he had a cheat.

After obtaining the magic paper, his strength had jumped up an entire level.

Yuhi Kurenai and Asuma were Aragaki Yasushi's teammates.

From the day they graduated from the Ninja Academy, the three of them had been grouped into a squad, struggling and growing together.

They had just barely survived the chunin exams a while ago and had just been promoted to chunin; they hadn't even had time to celebrate before being dragged onto the battlefield.

Of course, if it weren't for the "Crown Prince" status, they probably would have been sent to the front lines before even becoming chunin.

Aragaki Yasushi's instructor was Akimichi Doto of the Akimichi clan. He was a decent guy, always cheerful and quite reliable.

He had become the instructor for the three of them primarily because of Asuma.

The Ino-Shika-Cho clans and the Sarutobi clan had been close since the Warring States period; they were the ironclad supporters of the Hokage faction.

Naturally, the Crown Prince's teacher had to be chosen from among them.

However, after arriving on the battlefield, Akimichi Doto had only led them for less than a month before teaming up with Minato Namikaze and Inuzuka Gaku to carry out high-risk, near-suicidal missions, leaving the three of them to fend for themselves.

Fortunately, their squad usually only received low-risk, minor tasks.

Things like sabotaging enemy logistics, stealing intelligence, or patrolling were not very difficult, which was the silver lining in their misfortune.

Of course, whenever Akimichi Doto had time, he would return to train them and help them get used to the rhythm of the battlefield so they wouldn't actually end up dead.

While on the move, Aragaki Yasushi took advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention and secretly opened his system panel.

Aragaki Yasushi cheered inwardly.

He needed points to draw cards, and points could only be earned by completing missions.

The catch was that the system didn't actively issue missions; he had to find ways to trigger them.

So far, Aragaki Yasushi had only discovered one method: triggering system missions by accepting village missions.

Fortunately, he could reap rewards from both sides—the village provided payment, and the system provided gacha points.

Pure profit!

Because of this, Aragaki Yasushi had turned into a mission-crazed maniac during this period, snatching up every village mission he could find to farm points, which had left Yuhi Kurenai and Asuma completely bewildered.

But the benefits were real!

Aragaki Yasushi glanced at the system panel.

He finally had enough capital for a ten-pull!

He nimbly tapped on the card pool.

On the limited banner, there was even a thoughtful note: "Single pull 100 points, 10% discount for a ten-pull!"

If not for that ten-percent discount, Aragaki Yasushi's 950 points wouldn't have been enough.

He was nearly short by those 50 points; it would have driven his obsessive-compulsive tendencies to the brink.

Aragaki Yasushi didn't hesitate for a second, not even considering saving his points.

Just kidding—this battlefield was a place where one could kick the bucket at any moment; who knew if he'd be buried alive by an Iwagakure Earth Style jutsu in the next second?

Save the points and not use them?

Wait until he was dead to use them as offerings?

That would be pure idiocy, a total brain-dead move.

Aragaki Yasushi decisively clicked for a ten-pull.

The next second, a series of item notifications flooded the screen:

Aragaki Yasushi looked at this pile of items, his mouth twitching.

Another half-pool of trash!

What the hell were Pepsi and Coca-Cola?

He was here for the battlefield, not to be a happy couch potato!

However, complaints aside, Aragaki Yasushi wasn't too surprised.

After all, Jackie Chan Adventures was a modern world; there were plenty of things that could be pulled from it.

Trying to pull top-tier goods like Talismans or Masks was harder than getting Asuma to quit smoking, Kurenai to give up genjutsu, or Kakashi to take off his mask.

Being able to pull something usable was already good enough.

But Aragaki Yasushi really hadn't expected to pull an Apache helicopter?

How was he supposed to use this thing in the Naruto world?

Did he have to find a way to build an airport in Konoha?

Or should he take this helicopter to Snake Uncle, start a technological revolution, and make the ninjas stop using ninjutsu and start flying planes to bomb people instead?

Still, that was just a thought; Aragaki Yasushi quickly suppressed the absurd notion.

The technology in the Naruto world was already bizarre; Snake Uncle had even developed robots, and there would be scientific ninja tools in the future.

Who knew, maybe Snake Uncle could build an Apache himself.

Pushing those thoughts aside, Aragaki Yasushi began to carefully organize the items he had pulled, becoming more satisfied the more he looked.

Hey, actually, it wasn't all trash; there were some good things after all!

First was that Energy Scroll.

Aragaki Yasushi was quite satisfied.

This was likely the guaranteed good item from the ten-pull; at least it wasn't a wasted draw. Judging by its performance in the original series, it was basically a "youth version" of the Dragon Talisman.

Looking at the other items, they weren't too shabby either:

This was also quite good, though the only problem was that Aragaki Yasushi didn't know magic.

If he could pull a magic book from the Jackie Chan Adventures world later, he could learn a trick or two.

Of course, without a teacher, self-study might not be enough.

Moreover, the physical constitution of people in the ninja world was different from that of the Jackie Chan Adventures world.

But if he could pull the skills directly, he wouldn't have to worry about that.
