Jiang Yaru attended Class 16, Grade 12 at Tianshui City No. 95 Middle School. An exceptional student and martial artist, she was selected as the school tournament's student representative and was regarded as the strongest contender for its championship. Her reputation rested on both her appearance and her strength; she was already close to the Martial Apprentice Eighth Heaven while most school competitors lagged behind. 36 44

She recognized Xia Ping's sudden improvement after he defeated Xiong Batian and personally offered him a vacant place in the School Fighting Tournament. Their early interactions became defined by arguments over Xia Ping's erotic novel and the false pregnancy rumors he deliberately encouraged, much to her frustration. 18 20 21
