Background / History

Universe Daoist founded the sect and left his signature Saint-level art, the Great Yin-Yang Tablet-Shattering Hand, upon the Universe Wall. He departed roughly one hundred thousand years before Xia Ping’s arrival to seek a breakthrough in the depths of the cosmos and never returned; reports of his death remain unconfirmed 1109.

The sect grew into a Saint-level power ruling six star domains adjacent to the Lingyun Sect’s territory. Unlike Lingyun Sect, it accepts talented applicants without regard for their origin, background, or past conduct 1087.

At the time Xia Ping entered the sect, the North Nether Saint was one of its three remaining Saints. Xia Ping’s ascent to the Immortal Saint Realm later raised the sect’s total to four, shifting the Eastern Universe’s balance of power in its favor 1110 2273.

• Universe Planet — The sect’s headquarters and the center of its six-domain territory; almost all of its major experts are gathered there 1087.

Outer Sect Recruitment

The sect conducts outer-disciple recruitment once every four years, drawing geniuses from all six star domains 1087.

• The entrance examination is highly selective; fewer than one in one hundred examinees passed Xia Ping’s intake 1106.

Heavenly Dao Blood Oath

Universe Wall

The Universe Wall is a heavily defended forbidden ground containing martial traces left by generations of sect experts, including Saints 1105 1106.

• Exceptional comprehension can earn key cultivation or attract an elder as a master 1105.

Xia Ping’s Admission and Inheritance

Xia Ping registered in Universe Sect territory, passed the outer-disciple assessment, and entered the sect after taking the Heavenly Dao Blood Oath 1100 1105 1106. His resonance with the Universe Wall restored the Great Yin-Yang Tablet-Shattering Hand, causing numerous elders to compete to claim him as a disciple before the North Nether Saint took him personally 1108 1109 1110.

Demon Battlefield Trial

Universe Sect joined the Lingyun, Guiyuan, Five Elements, and Flying Immortal Sects in opening the Demon Battlefield through the Heavenly Secret List 1403. Its disciples ultimately swept the top-ten rewards after helping prevent the other sects’ disciples from being wiped out 1431.

Defense of Sect Honor

Lingyun Sect disciples led by Jian Qingbai humiliated Universe Sect outer disciples during an exchange competition, defeating numerous members while stronger sect geniuses were absent 1385 1386. Xia Ping’s arrival restored morale among the injured disciples and gave them hope of retaliation 1385.

Borderhead Planet Mission

The sect sent Xia Ping to establish actual control over Borderhead Planet, a frontier world where prior Golden Core Realm disciples had failed to suppress local factions 1557. When the Red Scarf Bandits mobilized against the planet, Yu Xiujun and other elders responded with reinforcements 1584 1595.

Map of Heavens’ Creation Expedition

When the Map of Heavens’ Creation descended in the Eastern Universe, Zhu Xian and numerous elders traveled with Xia Ping to enter it through a nearby gate of light 1877. The sect later remained cautious after hearing of the notorious Wu Wudi’s actions within the artifact 1907.
