Background / History

On Yanhuang Planet, humanity recovered martial arts techniques and advanced technology from super-ancient ruins exposed by earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. These discoveries enabled humans to develop superhuman martial abilities, defeat the planet’s monsters, and re-establish themselves as its dominant species 1 183.

Humanity fought the Demon Race for centuries. Humans were generally inferior to demons of the same rank in innate talent and direct combat, but advanced weapons, warships, city defenses, and communications technology allowed them to contest and reclaim territory 517 721 724.

Following the destruction of an alien fleet, humanity suffered comparatively minor losses while Ten Thousand Demon Mountain and the Sea Clan lost much of their high-end strength. Human forces subsequently became the dominant power in the Cloud Sky Realm, with the Demon Race and Sea Clan no longer able to contend directly 1079.

On Dragon God Continent, humanity was initially confined by the Dragon-Man Race’s superior strength: the humans possessed three Emperor-level experts against six Dragon-Man Emperors and relied on the Holy City’s defenses to avoid extermination 1277. Xia Ping’s destruction of four Dragon-Man Great Emperors changed the balance of power, enabling human armies to liberate slaves, seize territory, and capture more than one hundred Dragon-Man cities 1320.

Over hundreds of millions of epochs, humanity expanded from a weaker primordial-era race into a peak race with enormous resources and territory 1986. It holds approximately nine hundred million worlds in the Central Universe’s Ordinary District, three main continents in the Strange District, and roughly half of Mysterious Yellow Continent 1966 2281 2679.

Composition

Humanity is not limited to a single uniform lineage. Yanhuang Planet humans are described as relatively ordinary compared with many human populations elsewhere in the universe 862.

Major Conflicts

Demon Race

The Demon Race has been humanity’s longstanding rival. Both races compete over territory, resources, and the survival of their future generations, and both are willing to eliminate the other’s exceptional geniuses when possible 567 2270.

The conflict escalated in the Strange District when humanity uncovered Haims City’s plan to use more than 2,900 Ancient Heavenly Dragon Talismans to devour Thunder Continent’s origin, destroy Thunder City, and kill most of its Saints. Human forces launched a surprise attack, devastated Haims City, and seized the talismans 2379 2389 2401.

Dragon-Man Race

On Dragon God Continent, the Dragon-Man Race enslaved humans and suppressed human territory through superior Emperor-level combat strength 1270 1277 1291. The balance shifted after Xia Ping killed four Dragon-Man Great Emperors, allowing humanity to begin a large-scale liberation campaign 1320.

Abyss Demons

Despite rivalries among the peak races, the Abyss Demons forced humanity and other races into a temporary alliance for survival 2552. During the decisive battle, North Nether Saint used the Demon Suppression Tower to shield Human Race demigods from the Devil Master’s attack, sustaining severe injuries in the process 2928.

Xia Ping later annihilated numerous fiend demigods, killed the Devil Master, and destroyed the Abyssal Demon Tree. The victory elevated humanity’s standing and made other peak races deeply wary of its strength 2932 2940.
