Native World: Love, Trauma, and Disillusionment

Bibi Dong was Qian Xunji's direct disciple and Martial Soul Hall's Holy Maiden. Yu Xiaogang cultivated her affection by discussing theory, pretending to understand her loneliness, and presenting himself as concerned for commoner spirit masters. Through her support, he gained access to restricted Library Pavilion material and used her name to promote his supposed research 58.

She loved Yu Xiaogang enough to declare that she would leave Martial Soul Hall for him. Qian Xunji forcibly separated them and expelled him. Later passages identify Qian Xunji's sexual assault as the circumstances of Qian Renxue's conception; Bibi Dong's hatred of him became entangled with her treatment of their innocent daughter 60 106 141.
