"Take me to your granary!" Before the orc could actually do anything to Solam, Solam had already controlled him with Charm.
Thus, Solam swaggered toward the granary under the orc's guidance. The only slight inconvenience was that other orcs kept inexplicably rushing over to kill the one leading Solam.
The orcs had completely worked themselves into a frenzy. They no longer cared whether someone was an enemy or not; if they saw someone, they hacked at them.
In the end, even Solam got fed up. He simply used Mass Suggestion to control a group of orcs. If one got hacked to death, there were still others, after all. Someone would eventually lead him to the granary.
After losing more than thirty controlled orcs, Solam finally arrived at the Black Orcs' granary.
Solam examined the terrain around the granary. The entire storage area was protected by rows of fences made from massive logs, enclosing roughly three hectares of land. Inside stood a hundred enormous tents, all piled full of food. This should have been one of the most important places in the orc camp, yet after looking for quite some time, Solam found not a single guard. He had no idea whether the Black Orcs were naturally so thick-skinned that they did not fear anyone raiding their granary, or whether the guards had all gone off to fight.
The food came from a vast variety of sources. Some was military rations looted from humans, while some had been stolen from civilians. Solam even spotted quite a few dried animal carcasses, such as rats, snakes, and bats.
In short, the orcs' management was unbelievably crude. Everything had been piled together in a chaotic mess, with no proper storage whatsoever. It was simply heaped on the ground without even the most basic moisture
