Queen of Chaos offered to help Solam complete the final plan in exchange for Solam letting bygones be bygones.
Hearing the terms proposed by Solam and Queen of Chaos, the Sons of Solam and Queen Laeral Silverhand exchanged glances, their expressions strange. It was not that they thought the terms were bad; on the contrary, Queen of Chaos's offer was far too generous!
Who was Queen of Chaos? She was an Obyrith demon! This woman had never done good deeds in her life. She had such an enormous hold over Solam, yet instead of using it to threaten him for greater benefits, she was letting him off so casually. No matter how one looked at it, it was completely unreasonable.
Seeing everyone's expressions, Solam naturally understood what they were thinking.
"Heh, don't be in such a hurry. That isn't the only condition she offered. This woman is even willing to help my forces remaining in the Abyss after I leave—free of charge. That means you, my sons."
By the end, a cold smile had crept onto Solam's lips.
The others understood as well. So this was what Queen of Chaos had been waiting for. This woman had no good intentions at all—her true target was the Sons of Solam! And not only them. One must not forget that Solam secretly controlled a group of the Forgotten. Though that control was not particularly strict, Solam's influence over them was beyond question. Queen of Chaos clearly intended to take over his power once Solam left the Abyss.
It had to be said that this woman had quite the beautiful plan, and the key was that she really had a chance of pulling it off!
After Solam left, however, the Sons of Solam would lose their greatest support. For a time, they would
