In theory, any devil within the formation was a sacrifice Solam had prepared for the Will of the Abyss. Therefore, the Will of the Abyss directly descending with its power upon the Plain of Infinite Portals did not count as breaking the rules.

Do not assume that the Abyss, symbol of chaos though it was, had no rules. In truth, every living being and material entity that existed was governed by rules. The world could never contain anything of absolute order or absolute chaos. Anything that existed could not be pure.

For pure order or pure chaos could not exist within the real universe. At most, they were concepts, or surreal existences like Limbo or the Source of Order.

In short, while the Abyss might represent chaos, it was not pure chaos. It still had to abide by certain rules. Mount Celestia, for instance, could not remain utterly unchanged forever either; variables would always arise.

Thus, the Will of the Abyss was subject to certain constraints as well, such as being unable to act directly to accomplish its goals.

And Solam had given the Abyss an opportunity to act.

The entire devil-occupied region, with its tens of millions of devils, finally met its catastrophic end today. Countless devils tried to flee this hellhole, but the instant the sacrificial formation activated, all teleportation spells were forbidden. No one could escape this land of destruction.

They had considered resisting, but beneath the Abyss's utterly unmatched power, all resistance was futile. They could only watch in despair as their bodies and souls were obliterated by chaos, their very existence completely erased.

Solam stood atop Ferrug's city wall, watching the gigantic chaos
