Just as Harris was lost in wild thoughts, a tremendous cracking sound rang out. Everyone looked up to see a fissure had appeared on Solam's head at some point, like a crack spreading across glass. Intense light burst from within the crack. More intriguingly, Solam's body had instead become even more dangerous. Powerful Abyssal energy began rapidly spreading, and the scent of sulfur and blood made everyone dizzy as countless evil, violent thoughts arose in every person's mind.
There was no need to question the Abyss's corrosive nature, but being able to wield the power of the Abyss to such an extent meant only one thing: Solam's body had already completely fallen into the Abyss. There was no saving it.
At the same time, all the strange phenomena began to subside. The rampaging energy in the air gradually calmed, and the angels finally managed to steady themselves after their miserable ordeal.
