Seeing Alfred's shocked expression, Adrian shrugged.

Ignoring Adrian's teasing, Alfred cried out in exasperation, "And you still want to face something like that? If you're tired of living, go get yourself killed, but why drag me into it too?!"

Alfred even suspected that Adrian intended to drag the vampires along to their deaths. Otherwise, he simply could not imagine what ability vampires had to fight such a terrifying being.
