Near noon, Solam led the group to the entrance of the dragon's lair. White dragon caves were usually sealed shut by ice, and this one was no exception.
"We're here. Melt this solid ice, and you can go in." Solam pointed at the frozen entrance.
"Mm, thanks. Leave the rest to us." Lothric gave Mitrai a meaningful look.
Seeing Lothric's signal, Mitrai immediately cast the fifth-tier spell "Troy Scorching Ray," melting the solid ice sealing the entrance. The spell was not particularly powerful, but it was silent and discreet, unlikely to alert the White Dragon inside the lair.
"Alright, let's proceed according to the original plan." Lothric waved to Solam and led the others into the cave.
Watching them enter the cave, Solam prepared to head back with Gladys. But just as they turned around, before they had even taken a step, a tremendous roar rang out from within the cave.

Another explosion sounded with a boom.
"Roar!" The dragon's roar was getting closer and closer to the entrance where Solam and Gladys stood. Solam immediately realized that the White Dragon intended to flee.
"Gladys! Block the entrance, quickly! If the White Dragon escapes, everything will have been for nothing!" Solam immediately shouted up at Gladys.
"But... protecting you is my mission. Fighting that White Dragon is not my responsibility."
"Damn it! If the White Dragon really gets out, then I'll be in real danger!" Solam and Gladys were standing directly in front of the entrance. If the White Dragon truly escaped, it would probably attack the two
