Whether it was the divinity taking effect or simply the excruciating pain, Godzilla finally reacted. But Solam did not think much of that reaction. Godzilla threw its head back and let out a miserable howl, the agony so intense that it even split the corners of its eyes.

Solam looked at the suffering Godzilla, completely at a loss. He had no idea what was happening.

"Violette, is this a normal reaction too?" Solam asked uncertainly. Godzilla looked absolutely terrifying, as if it were about to die at any moment.

"Mm." Violette was far calmer than Solam. It was not easy for a mortal creature to accept divinity. Suffering a little was perfectly normal.

The moment Violette finished speaking, another change occurred in Godzilla. Its scales gradually began to peel away, with strands of flesh still clinging to them! Godzilla's cries became even more mournful.
