Something's Wrong

The moment Trism was looked at by Solam, he felt as though a man-eating beast had fixed its eyes on him, and every hair on his body stood on end.

"Boss, what's wrong?"

Solam said nothing. He continued staring intently at Trism until he finally confirmed that Trism had not been replaced by an impostor and showed no signs of being controlled. Only then did he lower his guard slightly.

"Do you feel like something's a little off with you?"

At first, Trism was utterly confused by Solam's words. But then he recalled his earlier behavior, and his expression immediately turned solemn. Even he found his recent behavior unfamiliar when he thought back on it.

But when it came to saying exactly what was wrong, he simply could not put his finger on it. He suddenly felt unbearably irritated, and even began to find the boss before him somewhat hateful.

That startled Trism even more. How could he possibly think his boss was hateful? That was his savior!

"Something's wrong. Something's wrong. Something's wrong." Yet the more he thought that, the more irritable he became. A nameless fire seemed to rise continuously from every part of his body, leaving his mind in complete turmoil.

As the agitation in his heart grew stronger, he began to feel angry. He wanted to break free of this rage that had come from nowhere. He even wanted to smash everything around him to vent the inescapable irritation.

Seeing Trism's expression grow increasingly furious, Solam knew something was wrong. He immediately used the divine spell scroll Mind Soothing to calm Trism down temporarily.
