In front of a mountain fortress stood tens of thousands of densely packed tents, with all manner of monsters moving through them. It looked somewhat chaotic, but the various monsters managed to coexist peacefully, which was already impressive. Considering that these were monsters rather than intelligent beings, calling it orderly was not much of an exaggeration.
The camp before them was practically a monster exhibition. Hobgoblins, orcs, kobolds, gnolls, trolls, and ogres were all present, along with rarer monsters such as Rakshasa, cyclopes, and hill giants.
At the sight, everyone unconsciously softened their breathing. With so many monsters, never mind their combat strength—even sheer numbers could bury their small group alive. And there were quite a few monsters among them with exceptionally high combat power.
