Background / History

Reincarnation Game debut

Ai enters the Crimson Moon dungeon under the alias “Hayasaka,” concealing her real-world identity from the other Players. Before the team fully understands her capabilities, she successfully misleads veteran Players into believing another newcomer is the group’s greatest threat. Yuki identifies her as the teammate he most wanted: an elite maid trained by the Shinomiya Group with intelligence, combat ability, and acting skill. 4 7

She quickly forms a working partnership with Yuki after accepting his assessment that the game has no meaningful newcomer protection. Their cooperation is built on mutual recognition of the other’s competence rather than blind trust. 8 9

During the dungeon, Ai obtains the Frontal Lobe Fragment by exploiting the Novice Guide and game rules. Crimson Moon later increases her already Mastery-level Hacker Decryption skill by one level. 9

Fool's Mask and the escape from Crimson Moon

Ai unlocks Fool's Mask, a pure-white Ego Trait mask that can reproduce another person’s appearance and personality. She initially uses it to impersonate Mai Sakurajima, then works with Yuki to deceive Li Dan without needing verbal coordination. 15 16 34
