The man in the white coat pushed up his reflecting glasses and looked at Danzo.

Danzo frowned. This was no simple matter. When it came to the Uzumaki Clan, the first person who came to Danzo's mind was Naruto Uzumaki. There was no helping it; as far as the ninja world was concerned, the only Uzumaki Clan member appearing in the open was Naruto Uzumaki of Konoha.

"I understand. You may leave." Moving against Naruto Uzumaki while Hiruzen kept such a close watch—wasn't that exactly what Hiruzen feared, Danzo making contact with Naruto?

But then, a scene that shocked the three occurred: the skin and flesh indented, but the needle did not pierce through. The operative frowned, feeling confused and assuming he hadn't used enough force, so he tried again with more pressure, but the result remained the same.

Naruto hadn't been playing around these past few days; not only had his recovery speed increased, but his defensive capabilities had also surged.

"The jinchuriki is problematic. Take him back for the master to examine." Seeing the situation, the captain gave the order directly. They had all been brainwashed by Danzo; whenever they encountered a problem, the first thing they thought of was Danzo's interests.

"He wouldn't be trying to clone me, would he?" Thinking of that disgusting technology, Naruto frowned.

He went back to sleep as if nothing had happened. As for the incident just now, he didn't take it to heart at all. The Six Thief Immortals had devoured the surrounding chakra, leaving no evidence behind; even Danzo wouldn't suspect him.

Arriving at the space again, Naruto glanced at the Nine-Tails.

Although no words were exchanged, the Nine-Tails was taciturn, once again releasing its chakra. One wanted to wear down the seal, the other wanted to absorb the opponent. Naruto directly received up to the four-tailed level, sat down, and began to absorb it silently.

On Danzo's side, every ninja had a time limit for their missions. When they didn't appear within the allotted time, Danzo knew without thinking that the mission had failed. But what Danzo couldn't figure out was why the three of them had died.
