After killing the Faceless One at the Demon Subduing Dharma Assembly and defeating Dou Yuehai, he left as the assembly identified him as the strongest Golden Core Cultivator beneath Nascent Soul.

• Zheng Yi raided Flood Dragon Demon Court strongholds until Overturning Sea Demon Lord wounded him and Jiao Changqing led eight flood dragons in pursuit.
• Zheng Yi trapped Jiao Changqing and the dragons, killed six of them, and escaped with severe injuries and Dao Injuries.

• Zheng Yi killed the Demon Lord during his tribulation, and the Immortal Slaughtering Sword absorbed the Demon Lord’s origin and became a Spirit Treasure.
• Zheng Yi overcame Thunder City and its nine Nascent Soul Imprints, then fought Master Nine Lotus Flower’s phantom and completed his Nascent Soul Dao.
• Zheng Yi erased the Seven Treasures Glazed Zen Staff’s will and imprint, transformed it into the Seven Treasures Mystical Tree Staff, and advanced into the Nascent Soul domain.
