"I'll knock you flat, just you wait!" Uchiha Obito clenched his fists and shouted, "And Kakashi, too! The great Obito is invincible!"

"Heh."

Yuki Yuichi didn't take him seriously. He turned to leave, but then stopped in his tracks.

Yuki Yuichi really hadn't expected Uchiha Obito to unlock an achievement just by doing that.

"A promise, huh..." Yuki Yuichi murmured, Obito's words still echoing in his ears.

He'd heard plenty of people he'd beaten say things like that before. So when Uchiha Obito said it, he hadn't thought much of it, assuming it was just another empty threat.

But why hadn't those other people unlocked an achievement, while Uchiha Obito had?

Yuki Yuichi rubbed his chin and looked at Uchiha Obito. The heat in his gaze made Obito take a few steps back.

"Does he have a crush on me?" Uchiha Obito panicked, his backside clenching as he edged closer to Nohara Rin without drawing attention to himself.

Coming back to his senses, Yuki Yuichi looked at Uchiha Obito and flashed him a brilliant smile.

Just as Uchiha Obito was about to grab Nohara Rin and run, Yuki Yuichi's bright smile vanished. "I never consider anyone I've beaten to be my opponent."

"You're still two hundred centuries too early to beat me!"

At his words, Uchiha Obito forgot all about the look Yuki Yuichi had given him. He glared at him, fists clenched.

"You jerk!"

"Once I awaken my Kekkei Genkai, I'll beat you for sure!"

"We'll see." Yuki Yuichi shrugged, then turned to Might Guy and led him off to the side.

Uchiha Obito was still furious.

"What an arrogant jerk!"

"Obito, are you okay?" Nohara Rin came over and pulled some bandages out of her pocket.

"Good thing I always carry bandages to practice with. Otherwise, we wouldn't know what to do about your injury."

As she spoke, Nohara Rin led Uchiha Obito over to sit nearby. She tended to his injury while grumbling at him.

"Yuichi-kun is stronger than you. You could've trained harder and challenged him later. Why challenge him now?"

Uchiha Obito blushed as he watched Nohara Rin earnestly bandage him. He turned his head away and mumbled, "But you were here, Rin."

"Obito!" Nohara Rin was right beside him, so she heard him and immediately got a little angry.

Seeing her upset, Uchiha Obito hurried to promise, "I know I was wrong! I'll train hard and challenge that arrogant jerk later!"

"Hmph. If you do that again, I won't talk to you!"

Uchiha Obito quickly promised her again, then took a bottle of eye drops out of his pocket.

"If I take good care of my eyes, I'll definitely awaken the Sharingan. Then I'll challenge Yuki Yuichi!" As he spoke, Uchiha Obito tipped his head back and carefully put the eye drops in.

Nohara Rin had just finished bandaging him. Hearing what he said, she couldn't help asking curiously, "Obito, is the Sharingan you mentioned really that powerful?"

Her question drew the other kids over, too.

Like Nohara Rin, they were all children from ordinary families. They knew about ninjas and a few things related to them, but they'd never even heard of Kekkei Genkai.

They'd only learned that ninjas had such special abilities after meeting Uchiha Obito.

Now that Nohara Rin had asked the question they'd all been curious about, naturally they came over to listen.

At Nohara Rin's question, and seeing the curious looks on his friends' faces, Uchiha Obito immediately stood up and stepped onto the spot where he'd been sitting.

"Of course it is!"

"The Sharingan is the strongest ocular jutsu in the Shinobi World. Once you awaken it, you'll have the strength of a Genin!"

"Above that are the Two-Tomoe and Three-Tomoe Sharingan, which represent the ranks of Chunin and Jonin!"

"Is there anything above the Three-Tomoe Sharingan?"

Yuki Yuichi had somehow come over without anyone noticing. Hearing Uchiha Obito's explanation, he couldn't help picking a fight.

"Impossible!" Uchiha Obito shot back. "I'm an Uchiha. How could I not know whether there are eyes above the Three-Tomoe Sharingan?"

Seeing that Yuki Yuichi still didn't believe him, Uchiha Obito gritted his teeth and declared, "If there are eyes above the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, I'll jump off the cliff at the Naka River whenever you say!"

At Uchiha Obito's bold declaration, Yuki Yuichi gave him a strange look. Was this kid trying to cosplay as Uchiha Shisui?

Might Guy stood to the side, troubled by the exchange between Yuki Yuichi and Uchiha Obito. He had no idea what to do.

He'd known Yuki Yuichi a little longer and understood that Yuki Yuichi could be a bit unpredictable, with a sharp tongue, but he was still a good person.

The nice way to put it was that Yuki Yuichi was sharp-tongued but kind-hearted. The less nice way was that he was a contrarian.

While Might Guy was fretting, Yuki Yuichi noticed what Uchiha Obito was holding and looked him up and down.

"Can I borrow those eye drops of yours?" Yuki Yuichi pointed at the bottle in Uchiha Obito's hand.

He was going to give the kid a real shock.

Hearing him, Uchiha Obito glanced down at his eye drops and casually tossed them to Yuki Yuichi.

"Here."

"Is your eyesight bad?"

Uchiha Obito asked with some concern. Although Yuki Yuichi had beaten him up, he wasn't holding a grudge. Instead, he was a little worried about Yuki Yuichi's eyes.

After all, aside from Uchiha Obito, anyone who used eye drops must have poor eyesight.

"Seeing you use eye drops to try to awaken the Sharingan gave me a good idea. I want to give it a try, too."
