"Mine are water and lightning, Changyang's is fire, and Jingchuan's are fire and earth."
Qiupu rattled off all three of their chakra affinities in one breath. Changyang and Jingchuan nodded in agreement beside him.
"Yi Xiang, how do you find out your chakra affinity?"
Naruto's face was full of curiosity. He seemed never to have heard anything about this subject, since all the ninjutsu he had learned could be mastered with unaspected chakra.
"You've never used chakra testing paper?! Actually, that makes sense. Your Shadow Clone and Rasengan can both be mastered with unaspected chakra."
Before Yi Xiang could answer, Jingchuan jumped in, realization dawning on his face.
"But those two techniques aren't easy to learn. Naruto's talent for learning is much better than ours."
Changyang sounded deeply envious.
The three members of Team Five often hung out with Yi Xiang, so naturally, they knew quite a bit about Naruto.
Seeing that Naruto was still confused, Changyang patiently explained how to use chakra testing paper and what reactions it produced.
"All right. I have all four of those affinities-water, lightning, fire, and earth-and I know some techniques for each. But I can't guarantee you'll be able to learn them.
"You should also know that having the corresponding chakra affinity is only the most basic requirement. It also depends on how difficult the technique is to learn, and how deeply you understand and have mastered chakra nature transformation."
Only after the three nodded in acknowledgment did Yi Xiang continue.
"So, have you learned any ninjutsu yet?"
"Teacher Yuto has fire and earth affinities, just like Jingchuan, so I'm the only one who hasn't learned any ninjutsu yet. Changyang and Jingchuan have both learned the Great Fireball
