Background / History

Su Xiang was an Earth security guard who transmigrated into the body of Uchiha Isho after an accident. He awakened in a Konoha hospital following the Uchiha clan massacre, which left Isho critically wounded; only Sasuke and Isho were identified as survivors. Along with Isho’s memories, he retained knowledge of the Naruto world and its future threats. 1 8

Soon after settling into Isho’s life, Yi Xiang discovered a system that issued missions, awarded Luck Points, stored items, and provided ninja experience cards. He awakened his Sharingan, discovered extraordinary chakra-paper reactions, and acquired the Great Fireball Technique. He resolved not to let the true forces behind the Uchiha massacre escape punishment. 2 3

The Third Hokage took notice of Yi Xiang’s friendship with Naruto and formally barred Root from approaching him, declaring Yi Xiang his student. 5

Yi Xiang is protective toward the people he accepts as his own, especially Naruto and Sasuke. He encourages Naruto’s ambition, trains both boys personally, and is willing to confront adults, bullies, and enemy shinobi on their behalf. 5 6 9 10
