The only person on the battlefield who recognized the jutsu Might Duy was using was Konoha's acting commander, Nara Suzaku. Seeing this, he felt both astonished and delighted. He had only heard about the power of the Eight Inner Gates before, but seeing it with his own eyes today made him realize just how powerful this forbidden technique was.

As for the damage the Eight Inner Gates would do to Might Duy's body, Nara Suzaku wasn't too concerned.

"This is the trump card Namikaze Minato left behind before he departed?" Terumi Mei asked slowly, looking at Nara Suzaku.

She and Rin had exchanged a few blows with the Ino-Shika-Cho trio led by Nara Suzaku, and the difference in strength between the two sides was obvious.

All three members of Ino-Shika-Cho had sustained minor injuries and were badly winded. Meanwhile, she and Rin were still holding their own with ease. If not for the shadow-manipulation technique and Mind Transfer jutsu they had to watch out for, they would have already won through sheer force.

When Terumi Mei stopped attacking and spoke to them, Nara Suzaku immediately took the opportunity to stall for time, allowing the others to recover their strength.

The impact was so powerful that Obito's ice statue was flung away, landing in a nearby thicket.

An ordinary ice statue would have shattered from the force of such a powerful shockwave. But the ice formed from Uesugi Shinji's Ice Release chakra was far stronger than normal. Obito's statue had suffered only a little damage around the edges; its overall structure remained intact.

Uesugi Shinji cared deeply about the Mangekyo Sharingan on Obito's face, but he had no choice but to deal with Might Duy first. Might Duy had missed his first strike and was already after Kisame again, swinging a fist wrapped in powerful chakra straight at him.
