A Land of Wind caravan.
The three Anbu Ninja had just been taken into the interrogation ninja's wagon when a sharp whoosh came from behind the caravan.
The caravan's sensory ninja spotted the incoming shuriken at once.
He shouted a warning. "Enemy attack!"
The ninjas in the group reacted immediately to the warning.
They quickly gathered at three points around the caravan.
These were the central area, where the leader was; the front, where the interrogation ninja was; and the rear, where the sensory ninja was.
The Paper Shuriken were terribly inaccurate.
At least, that was what the ninjas at the front of the caravan thought.
But they had no idea that while every ninja was keeping watch on the surrounding forest, a small figure suddenly appeared above a shuriken stuck in the ground.
The moment he appeared, he burst apart into a huge mass of paper. Before the enemy ninjas in front of him could react, the paper rushed at them and stuck to their bodies!
Only one Jonin reacted in time, but he was nowhere near fast enough to dodge the attack. After only a few steps, the paper stuck to him, freezing him in place.
The paper was inscribed with Binding Seals!
Some of the other pieces of paper flew into the wagon and stuck to everyone inside, enemy and ally alike.
But when the paper stuck to the three Konoha Anbu Ninja, they disappeared on the spot. The other ninjas first went rigid, then the Yin Release Chakra clinging to the paper invaded their hearts and meridians. They died on the spot!
By the time the rest of the caravan's ninjas surrounded the area, the seven or eight ninjas at the front had already collapsed, their faces deathly pale.
Seeing this, the caravan leader promptly ordered,
