He is the youngest son of Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito, inheriting Hashirama's Sage Body alongside the Uzumaki and Senju bloodlines. His vast vitality and chakra developed faster than his mental power, leaving him physically fragile, frequently unconscious, and dependent on a wheelchair despite his extraordinary reserves 19 20.

When Hoshishaku discovered that Yuto's mental energy was only 40, he identified the disparity between Yuto's body and spirit as the central cause of his illness.
