Storm Release

Soon, Keigo Uchiha made his way through the long corridor of the Uchiha Clan and arrived at a quaint house. A peach tree stood in the courtyard.

Leaves drifted down.

A delicate fragrance filled the air.

"Great Elder, sorry for the wait."

Entering the house, Keigo Uchiha knelt respectfully across from Great Elder Kyo Uchiha. Even though he had met the old man many times, he was still awed by him.

Those deep eyes were captivating, as if they could see right through anyone!

His face was aged.

His gaze was cloudy.

Yet the glint that showed in his eyes from time to time was enough to send a chill through anyone!

"It seems your training has gone well. Your body is stronger, and your chakra has already reached Genin level."

Kyo Uchiha spoke slowly, as if he could see right through Keigo.

"Come, have some tea."

Kyo Uchiha leisurely poured tea into the cup before Keigo. The gentle sound of the flowing water carried a sense of distance and calm. Keigo waited until Kyo began drinking before picking up his own cup.

That was the Uchiha Clan's custom.

After joining the Uchiha Clan,

he had come to realize just how strict its rules were. Of course, that kind of instruction was reserved for heirs among the higher-ups like him; ordinary Uchiha Clan members weren't taught this way.

"You have enough chakra now, and you've already mastered Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique and Fire Style: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique. It's time to move on to the next step."

Kyo Uchiha looked at the handsome young man before him.

Keigo Uchiha froze.

"That's right. Now you can determine your chakra nature. It will decide which types of ninjutsu you'll be best at using. Most members of the Uchiha Clan have a Fire nature, while the lucky ones have both Lightning and Fire."

Kyo Uchiha explained.

His gaze was kind.

"I have both Lightning and Fire, and there's a very good chance you'll have them too. Of course, even if you don't, it's no big deal."

Not having both Lightning and Fire wasn't a big deal?

Keigo Uchiha was taken aback.

How could that be?

Fire was certainly powerful, but among the five elemental natures, Lightning was the most offensive. In the original story, Uchiha Sasuke had made a name for himself in battle with Lightning Release Ninjutsu!

Looking at the stern yet gentle face before him, Keigo realized the Great Elder was trying to reassure him.

"Don't worry, Great Elder. I'm sure I have a Lightning nature!"

Keigo Uchiha's lips lifted into a slight smile.

He wasn't saying it without reason.

Since the system had given him a 'Storm Release Fusion Card,' it meant he had a Lightning nature. He might even have a Water nature. Otherwise, the Golden Egg System would be a useless system.

What good was a reward you couldn't use?

How was that any different from junk?

"You seem very confident, Keigo."

A smile appeared on Kyo Uchiha's stern face. "This is Chakra Paper. Pour your chakra into it, and it'll reveal your chakra natures."

he held the paper out to Keigo.

Keigo Uchiha gave a light laugh, took the paper, and poured his chakra into it!

The paper changed at once.

One section caught fire.

"Good. That's Fire. It's the most common nature among members of the Uchiha Clan."

Kyo Uchiha explained with a smile.

One section grew damp.

"Water!?"

Kyo Uchiha was taken aback. "It's rare for a member of the Uchiha Clan to have a Water nature. It isn't Lightning, but Water is still good. It's a very useful support nature."

"It's a shame that so few of our clan have a Water nature, and that it's difficult to use a combined technique with both Water and Fire."

The Great Elder sounded a little regretful.

He assumed Keigo's chakra natures were Fire and Water.

After all, having three chakra natures was a one-in-ten-thousand talent.

But then!

One section of the Chakra Paper crumpled!

"That's... Lightning!"

Kyo Uchiha was taken aback. "Three natures!"

His eyes widened. Could this be real?

He had three natures from birth.

There weren't many people in all of Konoha who could say the same!

After all, Jonin could train themselves to use other chakra natures later.

Keigo had three natures from birth. Once he became a Jonin, if he trained in the other two, he would have all five chakra natures.
