I Want to Learn Medical Ninjutsu

If he had come a little earlier, Uchiha Ensei would have feared no threats, relying on his own talent alone.

At those words, Uchiha Inabi's expression immediately darkened.

"Ensei, where did you hear about Medical Ninjutsu?"

"You have a lot of talent. You shouldn't waste it on Medical Ninjutsu."

Uchiha Inabi was firm, his voice unusually stern. A faint trace of killing intent even flickered around him.

Faced with Uchiha Inabi's anger, Uchiha Ensei wasn't afraid in the slightest. His expression remained calm.

Uchiha Inabi let out a cold snort at that, but didn't argue. He silently resolved to stop the other boy's childish plan, no matter what.

Then, when he saw Uchiha Ensei nimbly walk up the wall and all the way onto the ceiling, Uchiha Inabi's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

Generally speaking, ninja had strong physiques; otherwise, they couldn't extract Chakra from their bodies. But even the most talented ninja still had to obey the natural laws of growth.

Normally, only students around eleven or twelve years old, nearing graduation from the Ninja Academy, had enough Chakra to practice control techniques like Water Walking and tree climbing.

But geniuses had never been bound by convention.

"Get down! You've only been extracting Chakra for a short time. At your age, using Chakra like that will exhaust you before long."

Hearing Uchiha Inabi's anxious warning, Uchiha Ensei obediently walked down from the ceiling.

Because he had such good control over his Chakra, simply walking on the wall didn't consume much of it.

"Inabi, this is why I want to learn Medical Ninjutsu."

Uchiha Inabi fell silent.

Fugaku Uchiha's attitude was decent enough, but no more than that.

Perhaps Uchiha Ensei hadn't shown enough talent to impress him. Perhaps it was the arrogance of a clan head.

Konoha had plenty of material on Medical Ninjutsu, but very few techniques that could actually be put to use. Most of it was theory, information about illnesses, and the like.

He even found quite a few records that resembled human experimentation among the Medical Ninjutsu materials.

Looking at the materials in his hand and recalling the brief information he knew about the Otsutsuki Clan, Uchiha Ensei came up with an intriguing idea.

After that, Uchiha Ensei began to focus his efforts on studying Chakra.

In this world, everyone knew that Chakra was formed by combining physical and spiritual energy.

But in reality, Chakra came from the Otsutsuki Clan. It was an external power.

Yet in the Shinobi World, no one had ever paid attention to what Chakra actually was.

As a result, Uchiha Ensei couldn't find what he wanted in the Uchiha Clan's library.

Since he couldn't find what he needed, he would have to conduct the research himself—and that required funding.

That was when the Transformation Jutsu came in handy.

A few days later, with Uchiha Inabi's help, Uchiha Ensei successfully signed a Summoning Contract with the Ninja Cat Clan.

But the Ninja Cat Clan differed from the other Summoned Beast clans in the Shinobi World. They weren't especially strong in battle, and at times they seemed less like Ninja Beasts and more like partners.

For Uchiha Ensei, that was exactly the kind of relationship he wanted.

So Uchiha Ensei chose to set up his laboratory near the Ninja Cat Clan.

It took considerable effort to reach an agreement with the Ninja Cat Clan, but it also earned him a respectable standing among them.

With everything ready, Uchiha Ensei began researching Chakra.
