"A life-or-death battle!?"

Luo Zhe's expression turned serious, his eyes narrowed, and his gaze toward Candace became somewhat dangerous.

This is the second time he has received a challenge from other trainees since entering the Training Camp at the beginning of the month. The first challenge was brought up by William Edith, who was standing next to Candace.

Now, if it weren't for Candace's backing, he probably wouldn't even have the courage to face Luo Zhe directly.

"Give me a straight answer, are you in or not?!" In Luo Zhe's eyes, Candace was now like a gambler who had lost desperately, risking everything and betting everything in an attempt to win it all back in one go.

Little did they know, nine out of ten gamblers lose!

Besides, Luo Zhe didn't have the leisure to play games with him. He never intended to pursue Janet in the first place, so what if he won the bet? He'd still have to face Candace's hostility. If he lost, he'd be in a bad mood. It was completely unnecessary!

"Not interested!" Luo Zhe waved his hand, then called out to Shi Jiang and Zhao Ruo, who were looking in their direction, "Senior brothers and sisters, it's about time to go back."

"10 billion!"

Candace, sticking out his neck, said, "The bet! Besides the condition I just mentioned, the winner gets to take away 10 billion! I'll personally fund it!" 10 billion was a huge sum for Candace, after all, he was only the first heir of the family, not the family patriarch.

But now, in order to beat Luo Zhe once, and to win Janet's heart, he's betting everything. He wants to use this bet to make Janet understand that Luo Zhe is just a lucky Huaxia kid, and his real strength is actually quite weak!

To be honest, Luo Zhe was tempted!

That's a whopping 10 billion!

The 1 is followed by a neat row of 10 zeros!

Even with Thor as a teacher in the future, 10 billion won't be easy to earn. According to the contract provided by the Extreme Martial Arts Hall, Luo Zhe's annual activity budget after graduating from the Elite Training Camp is only 5 billion.

But Luo Zhe still refused, "Sorry, I'm still not interested. Goodbye!" He turned and left, following his senior brothers and sisters out of the second floor of Restaurant No. 1.

"Ah!!!" Candace suddenly went berserk, smashing all the plates and dishes on the table next to her. The clattering sounds echoed throughout the party, startling the students who remained.

Upon seeing that it was Candace who was smashing things, they all gave each other a strange smile, exchanged glances, and then left.

By the time Candace smashed the last dish, the entire second floor was empty except for William, who was still standing beside him.

Candace said angrily, "You, Luo Zhe, actually look down on me!"

"Candace, I told you, but you didn't believe me! That Huaxia kid doesn't take us seriously at all. You're just being stupid enough to challenge him like that; he definitely won't take it seriously." William chuckled sinisterly. "I've already found out that this Huaxia kid used to be in a War General Level Fighter squad called the Fire Hammer Squad back in Jiangnan Base City. We can use that to threaten him!"

"Given your status, finding a few warrior Fighter to cause trouble for this kind of Fighter squad shouldn't be a big deal, right?"

10:30 PM.

Back at the Jiangnan Pavilion, Luo Zhe Luo Zhe sitting in his study watching a tutorial video for the "Nine-Fold Thunder Blade" when he suddenly received a phone call.

"Hello, is this student Luo Zhe?" A deep male voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Yes, I am Luo Zhe. And you are?" Luo Zhe hesitated in his answer. His phone number was registered in Jiangnan Base City, and very few people in the entire Training Camp, or even in the entire Hongning Base City, knew this number.

"Your package is here. We're at the Training Camp gate now. Could you please come out and pick it up?" The deep male voice finished speaking and then hung up the phone.

"A package? For me?" Luo Zhe was a little confused, but he still changed into casual clothes and walked towards the Training Camp gate.

Main entrance.

When Luo Zhe reached the gate, it was already 11 p. m., and it was getting a bit chilly. Because it was the 30th, there were no students at the gate at that hour.

"Trainee Luo Zhe, what are you doing here so late?" A middle-aged man in military uniform, the head of the guards at the main gate, called out with a smile. In just one month, he had already made a name for himself as a star in the Training Camp.

"Something came up," Luo Zhe replied with a smile.

The commander of the guarding force knew the rules and didn't ask any further questions.

A large truck was parked in the center of the main entrance; normally, no vehicles are allowed to park in that spot.

As Luo Zhe walked to the truck, the rear door opened with a whoosh, and an electronic voice announced, "Trainee Luo Zhe, please get in."

Luo Zhe peered curiously towards the front of the car. However, the car window seemed to be custom-made, and Luo Zhe couldn't see anything inside at all.

As soon as he peeked out from behind the truck's back door, before he could even get on, he felt a blue light shine on him, and at the same time, a familiar electronic voice sounded, "Student Luo Zhe, identity confirmed, please get on the truck."

The truck's interior was quite luxurious, with three people inside, all smiling as they looked at Luo Zhe.

"Student Luo Zhe, please get on the bus." There were three people in the carriage: one Black man and two Asian men. The one who spoke was one of the two Asian men.

Luo Zhe jumped into the car, glancing around the carriage before finally settling on the Asian man who had spoken. The man was holding a large briefcase, large enough to fit the man himself.

"This is your package. Please come and check it."

Then—the same blue light as before shone on the combination lock box.

"Items in the safe confirmed, correct." An electronic voice announced, "Student Luo Zhe, please accept."

Luo Zhe cautiously stepped forward, carefully observing the three people in front of him.

The tall, Asian man picked up the briefcase and held it directly in front of Luo Zhe.

"What's inside?" Luo Zhe took the briefcase, turned it over, and asked.

"Sorry, Luo Zhe, we were just responsible for transportation; we don't know what's inside," the Asian man replied with a smile.

Carrying the briefcase and filled with questions, Luo Zhe quickly returned to his residence.

In the underground secret chamber of the Jiangnan Pavilion.

The lights illuminated the entire secret room.

Luo Zhe placed the combination lock box in the corner and examined it carefully. It was a fingerprint combination lock box, and a high-end one at that. Luo Zhe ran his finger over it, and with a click, the combination lock box opened.

The combination lock box was large and had two compartments, one above the other.

Three War Blade War Blade were neatly arranged on the upper shelf. When Luo Zhe took them out, he found that although the three War Blade were the same model, their weights were different. The heaviest one was estimated to weigh several tons. Luo Zhe's face turned red before he picked it up.

Carefully place the three War Blade on the ground, then look down.
