Five golden beams suddenly shot from the Devourer Beast's foreclaws.

The golden markings on the horn protruding from its forehead suddenly lit up. Its eyes, too, turned a dazzling gold.
Golden light raced along its neck and back, surging into its foreclaws. With a sharp swish, its razor-sharp claws slashed straight at the tiny figure before it!
"You're too slow."
The instant those claws swung toward him, Li Qingxu had already disappeared.
Like a god descending from the heavens, he brought one foot down hard onto the Golden Horned Beast's back.
His shoe crumbled into dust beneath his foot.
"Boom!"
The Golden Horned Beast's attack missed. It felt a sharp pain in its back as several scales fell away with its blood.
Its enormous body plunged into the Pacific Ocean like a beam of light.

Li Qingxu drew in a breath, his expression strange.

This Devourer Beast belonged to the metal element and already had powerful scale defenses.

It glared at the ant in the distant sky. This puny human had actually hurt it, and the Golden Horned Beast was incandescent with fury.

Across the vast universe, it was one of the most exalted bloodlines. Yet on this weak planet, a puny human dared to challenge it.

The Golden Horned Beast gave its scaled wings a slight flap and instantly turned into a streak of light, flying straight at Li Qingxu.
In the War God Palace meeting room, the images on the screen were moving so fast that ordinary people could barely see them.
