Background / History

Li Qingxu was originally a Ninth-Heaven Quasi-Emperor with the Desolate Ancient Sacred Body in the Covering Sky world. During the Dark Turmoil following the opening of the Road to Immortality, he forced two Supremes to return to their peak states, killed one, and was himself blasted apart. Ye Fan, having transcended the Sacrificial Dao, cast a surviving drop of Li Qingxu’s essence blood—containing his consciousness—into the future. 1

He awakened in the Swallowed Star world with his cultivation and Bitter Sea lost, but with his Sacred Body, memories, techniques, and understanding of laws intact. His local identity had been investigated as an orphan adopted by Yezi Orphanage under the name Ye Fan; he later chose the name Li Qingxu. 1 4

Li Qingxu deliberately displayed Perfect-level footwork during the Jiangnan City martial artist assessment to attract a major faction’s attention. The Limit Dojo recruited him, provided him a villa in the Extreme Pavilion, and Hong granted him access to choose two treasures. 3 4

Li Qingxu’s Sacred Body is associated with golden radiance and chaotic mist. When activating an exclusive lineage phenomenon, he appears like an Immortal King: solemn, dignified, and surrounded by Mysterious Yellow Qi. 19
