"I told you, my name is Xiang Zhixing!"

As the voice faded, a youth with a fresh, youthful face appeared before him.

Chen Beixun dared not even breathe, his eyes locked onto the other, observing his every move.

Death, at this moment, seemed to have already sealed his fate.

"You seem very nervous, don't you?" Xiang Zhixing tilted his head and smiled.

His heart was filled with trepidation; through the other's aura, he understood this was absolutely a ruthless character.

"Sigh, that move of yours just now almost did me in," Xiang Zhixing sighed, shaking his head. "If I hadn't slowed down time a bit..."

"I might have really been finished."

Fear permeated the space, filling everything in an instant; time seemed to freeze, moving only as Xiang Zhixing moved.

"What... you slowed down time?" Chen Beixun asked in astonishment, his words laced with disbelief.

A genius of the Law of Time? That was the first thing that crossed his mind; only by slowing the surrounding time could one possibly evade that attack.

"That's right, slowing time. I spent a few years figuring that out," Xiang Zhixing said with a helpless expression.

"A... a few years?" Chen Beixun stood frozen in place, until Xiang Zhixing gave him a nudge.

"Is there a problem? Those things are very simple. I really don't understand how those World Lords survive; how could such simple things trap them for millions of years?" Xiang Zhixing said with disdain, speaking with great animation.

"A bunch of trash, and they even brought in those useless Domain Lords from the Virtual Universe or some Heaven and Earth Secret Realm to compete with me," Xiang Zhixing said in an angry tone.

Suddenly, he raised his hand and pressed it onto Chen Beixun's shoulder.

Chen Beixun shuddered violently from the touch.

Xiang Zhixing chuckled evilly: "Guess how many seconds it took me to beat that useless Domain Lord."

Chen Beixun shook his head; every word from the guy in front of him was striking at his heart.

Xiang Zhixing held up a finger: "One second, one second of full effort!"

Domain Lord? Heaven and Earth Secret Realm? One second?

Separately, they were nothing, but combined, it was absurd.

"You really are strong!" Chen Beixun said. Regardless of the truth, the guy in front of him could take his life in an instant.

Chen Beixun wanted to stall for time to see if there was any room for negotiation.

"Oh my~" Xiang Zhixing leaned his head back against his hands and said lazily: "Me? I have no interest in cultivation, but I am interested in collecting trophies."

"Guess what kind of trophies?" Xiang Zhixing smiled wickedly.

Hearing this and seeing his expression, Chen Beixun's mouth twitched as he asked cautiously: "What kind of trophies?"

Xiang Zhixing revealed a meaningful expression and immediately said: "Other people's lovers, especially the good-looking ones!"

After he finished, he licked his lips, staring fixedly at Chen Beixun.

"Demon Island Vine!" Chen Beixun's eyes were bloodshot, pouring out boundless rage as he issued a command to the Demon Island Vine with his consciousness.

Hundreds of vines lashed out with the force of a thunderbolt, as if to shatter the world.

Xiang Zhixing met Chen Beixun's gaze; he didn't dodge, yet the Demon Island Vine's attack failed to strike him.

"Oh my~ you're just like the others I've met, stubborn to the end," Xiang Zhixing said with a calm expression and a light laugh. "I'll just stand here and let you try; you'll end up in despair anyway."

"As long as you let her go, I'll do anything," Chen Beixun was nearing a breakdown.

"Hahaha!" Xiang Zhixing laughed like a madman. "Don't worry, in a moment, I'll do it slowly right in front of you."

"F***," Chen Beixun cursed, and a Fire Crystal appeared out of thin air in his hand.

Seeing this, Xiang Zhixing let out an excited shout. Anyone else would have been terrified, but he was excited; one truly wondered what he had been through, or if he was just this insane.

A flash of red light reflected on Chen Beixun's face as a large hand suddenly appeared out of thin air and snatched the Fire Crystal away.

BOOM!

By the time Chen Beixun reacted, the Fire Crystal had already exploded in the distance.

The rising mushroom cloud bloomed in the sky, and the terrifying shockwave nearly knocked him off his feet.

But what shocked him was the man standing before him, bathed in flames.

"An... Immortal?" Xiang Zhixing held his breath; even in his madness, he dared not act out in front of an Immortal!

"May I ask, Senior, who are you?" Chen Beixun bowed respectfully.

"An Changyan's fourth brother, here to take her home," the man said indifferently, his gaze toward the other filled with a hint of disgust.

"Ah??!" Chen Beixun was astonished, but he still released An Changyan along with her guards.

Chen Beixun then crouched down and said, "These are Prince An Changyan's guards!"

An Changyan stared blankly at the surroundings, then suddenly exclaimed, "Fourth Brother?"

The man smiled faintly, then collected An Changyan and the guards into his World Ring before vanishing from the spot.

"Wait, what about me?" Chen Beixun slapped his forehead.

Xiang Zhixing glanced at Chen Beixun, then at the spot where the immortal had disappeared. He repeated this several times before saying, "Alas! He didn't take you with him?"

"Alas! Then you're finished!" Xiang Zhixing said, a curved saber appearing in his hand. He slashed fiercely at Chen Beixun.

Suddenly, a flash of white light streaked past. Xiang Zhixing's saber missed, cutting into the air and creating thousands of tiny, long fissures that seemed to be stuck to the air.

They closed up a few seconds later.

Suddenly--

Swish!

The immortal reappeared. He glanced at Xiang Zhixing and asked, "Where is that person?"

"He... he's gone." He was also bewildered. All he knew was that a flash of white light had appeared, and Chen Beixun had vanished along with the Demon Island Vine.

"You didn't kill him, did you?" the immortal asked.

"I really didn't!" Xiang Zhixing waved his hands repeatedly. "See, there's no body."

"You wait here!" the immortal said, then disappeared.

This immortal had authorization to enter and was not allowed to kill.

On a vast, rippling green ocean, a person floated.

"Wuwu!" Chen Beixun opened his eyes and looked around in confusion. "Where is this?"

"Qishan?" he called out several times.

"I'm here. You were just saved by a flash of white light," Qishan said.

Chen Beixun: "What?"

Qishan then explained what had happened: "There was a flash of white light that blocked that guy's attack, then a huge void appeared beneath you, and you and the Demon Island Vine fell in."

"That's it?" Chen Beixun was shocked. He had to believe such a preposterous explanation.

"This was clearly aimed at you," Qishan reminded him.

"Is that so?" Chen Beixun stood on the surface of the green sea.

"And this is Dew Light Water, a full 603.1 billion cubic meters!" Qishan said.
