Background / History

The Demon Island Vine is an exceptionally rare plant lifeform whose cultivation demands enormous wealth. It can devour rock, metal, liquids, radiation, and other materials, making it both a combat asset and a resource-consuming lifeform. Its growth is graded by the number of main vines: 128 is the lowest grade, while 999 is the highest. 4

It recognizes only one master. If its master dies, it dies as well. Its intelligence develops alongside its cultivation: early-stage vines can communicate only briefly, while Universe-level vines can generally communicate with their master without barriers. 4

Chen Beixun enhanced the vine with the Fanwu Crystal, later feeding it resources from Tianwen Planet and allowing it to absorb the planet's lethal radiation. He used River-Reversing Ore to support its transition to the Domain Lord level. 1 4

The Demon Island Vine massacred members of the Sound-Direction Clan while Chen Beixun searched for Luoduo. It later killed Ancient Emperor Longzun, allowing Chen Beixun to seize her loot and consolidate control over the Suanling Divine Palace. 2 4

It was subsequently used against Emperor Jing's group, killing Emperor Meng and helping Chen Beixun capture Emperor Jing. It also fought Emperor Ta and Emperor Mu; Emperor Ta was eliminated during the battle, while the vine eventually killed Emperor Mu after a prolonged struggle. 7 8 9

Immortal Legacy and Linkong

Following its Domain Lord evolution, the vine served as Chen Beixun's armor and primary combat support during the Mingqiong Sacred Land expedition. It later confronted the Flame Star Behemoth, whose attack triggered the vine's Devour and Transform response. 6 11 12
