Background and History
Double Pupil Prodigy
Shi Yi was born into the royal lineage of the Martial King Manor with innate Double Pupils. The phenomenon caused a major stir within the clan, whose elders regarded it as the mark of ancient sages and gods; some believed he could eventually compete for the Human Emperor's throne. Even as a three-year-old, he was calm, steady, and exceptionally quick to learn. 21
When Shi Hao's parents departed to search for Shi Hao's missing grandfather, Shi Yi's mother offered to care for Shi Hao alongside her own son. She initially raised the two children together and told Shi Yi that Shi Hao would one day become his right-hand man. 22
Supreme Bone Transplant
Shi Yi's mother later arranged for Shi Hao's Supreme Bone to be extracted and grafted into Shi Yi's chest. Shi Yi endured the procedure in severe pain but showed no fear, biting down on soft wood while divine light flickered within his Double Pupils. The transplant succeeded, and the Supreme Bone's runes settled into his chest. 23
When the clan elders attempted to punish his mother, Shi Yi threatened his own life with a silver knife unless she was spared. He later stated calmly that the Supreme Bone was inside his body. The clan ultimately chose to preserve him because of his Double Pupils and the newly acquired bone. 23
Conflict with Shi Ziling
Shi Ziling returned to the clan after discovering Shi Hao's condition and attacked Shi Yi's branch. During the battle, Shi Yi used his Double Pupils to identify flaws in Shi Ziling's defenses and direct his grandfather's attacks. 24
Shi Yi later fought in tandem with Clan Elder Shi Li, lending him enhanced perception and projecting a rune field that interfered with Shi Ziling's Precious Techniques. Despite this, Shi Ziling struck Shi Yi through several elders' defenses, breaking more than a hundred of his bones. 24 25
Shi Yi's Double Pupils emitted multicolored light that began restoring his broken bones, while the Supreme Bone sealed his bleeding wounds and aided his recovery. 24
Public Fame and Heaven Mending Pavilion
Shi Yi became renowned throughout the Stone Kingdom and the Void God Realm as an undefeated, god-like youth. His most famous Initial Ground record was the slaughter of nine Beast Kings in a single battle. 44 47
He later entered the Heaven Mending Pavilion on a Primordial Remnant, declaring his ambition to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with ancient sages. 52 53 Within the Ancient Holy Academy's chaotic domain, he continued walking an endless path that resonated with the Great Dao. 62
Appearance
Shi Yi possessed four pupils in total from birth, with divine light flowing from his eyes and an aura of majesty disproportionate to his age. After receiving the Supreme Bone, holy radiance frequently emerged from his chest. 21 24
- Double Pupils — two pupils in each eye, often shining with divine or multicolored light. 21 24
- God-like bearing — even as a child, he carried a cold, imposing presence that unsettled onlookers. 24
- Supreme Bone radiance — his chest glowed with holy light while the grafted bone healed his injuries. 24
Personality
Shi Yi was notably composed from childhood. He remained calm while being prepared for the Supreme Bone transplant and endured its pain without panic. 22 23
His attachment to his mother was intense: when the elders threatened her, he used a knife against his own throat to force them to spare her. 23 During Shi Ziling's assault, he remained cold and focused, using his Double Pupils tactically to guide allied elders rather than retreating from the battle. 24
Shi Yi also displayed ambition befitting his reputation. His arrival at the Heaven Mending Pavilion was framed as a pursuit of a status equal to the ancient sages. 52
