Background / History

Lin Dong was a young member of the Lin Family’s collateral branch in Qingyang Town. By the time Lin Yiqing discovered the Ancestor Stone cave, Lin Dong had already taken the Ancestor Stone and kept its existence secret out of concern that it would bring disaster upon his family. Even at that age, he showed unusual composure and mental fortitude. 4 5

He stood against Lin Shan’s bullying of ordinary Lin Family members and later became involved in conflict with Lin Hong over Lin Qingtan and the treatment of collateral-branch clansmen. 11
