Background / History

Panhu emerged alone from a stone in a cave within the Mist Forest and spent an unknown period there in boredom. When Lin Yiqing and Little Fatty encountered him, he appeared as a palm-sized puppy but could speak human language and emitted the brutal aura they had sensed in the forest. He initially demanded to be addressed as “Lord Divine Monarch.” 59

He chose to follow Lin Yiqing because he liked him and no longer wished to remain alone. Lin Yiqing named him Panhu after the legendary Great God Panhu; Panhu enthusiastically accepted the name. Before departing, he demonstrated his appetite by manifesting a colossal beast shadow and swallowing a star fragment. 59

Panhu later confirmed that he belongs to the rare Tiangou clan. Adult Tiangou pursue stars, and their lineage grants an innate devouring ability. Because Tiangou are not considered adults until the Profound Death Realm, Panhu can advance during infancy without facing Nirvana Tribulations. 90 96

After years traveling with Lin Yiqing, Panhu seeks his clan’s inheritance ground in the Demon Region. Lin Yiqing supports this goal, and Panhu eventually departs with Little Fatty, later cultivating for years in the Tiangou ancestral lands. 205 215 279
