The legendary assassin Garona Halforcen had assassinated Llane Wrynn, the previous king of Stormwind City, and Medivh, the Astral Mage, one of the greatest mages in the world. She had the most illustrious record of any assassin in Azeroth's history, bar none.
Never mind Matthias Shaw-even his mentor, Halford Wyrmbane, probably fell far short of Garona.
By comparing her to Matthias, Shawn was clearly making fun of him.

Matthias lived up to his reputation as a veteran of verbal warfare. He merely gave Shawn a faint glance before saying calmly, "Garona is indeed remarkable as an assassin, but I'm not merely an assassin. I'm the leader of SI:7. How can the two of us be compared? As for all that information you mentioned, I assume Rick told you?"
At that, Matthias glanced at Rick.
Rick, however, was staring at Shawn in surprise.
He knew perfectly well that he hadn't told Shawn much about Matthias. In fact, there were plenty of details even he didn't know. How had Shawn learned them?
