This was a city surrounded by water on three sides, a trading hub with connections in every direction.
This was the last remaining testament to the maritime kingdom of Kul Tiras, and the new home that refugees from Lordaeron had built through countless hardships.
This was Theramore.
Theramore lay in Dustwallow Marsh on Kalimdor, near the Orc capital of Durotar and across the sea from the human capital, Stormwind City. Merchant ships connected it to all the major ports. Though its military was weak, thanks to Lady Jaina, this little city had become the only link between the Horde and the Alliance.
With her own father's life, Jaina had placed the piece that balanced the scales between the Horde and the Alliance. Now, bearing the condemnation of almost everyone, she held her ground in Theramore.
Or rather, it was less a matter of holding her ground than of living in exile.
Neither the Horde nor the Alliance could accept Jaina, so she was isolated on this island, alone and without anyone to turn to.
Yet now that trouble had struck Stormwind City, they still had to seek her help, hoping she would lend them a hand.
Standing on the deck at Theramore's harbor and looking at the less-than-imposing city before him, Shawn was filled with emotion.
Since they had not revealed their identities, Shawn and his companions entered Theramore after a simple inspection, just like ordinary merchants.
Soon, the index-finger-ranked SI:7 assassin used special means to find SI:7's members in Theramore. Through them, he contacted one of Theramore's senior officials, and through that official, he reached Lady Jaina.
That evening, Shawn and the others met Lady Jaina in Theramore's Town Hall.
