Two days later.
Atlantis, Temple Square.
A large crowd of cat-eared beauties gathered to see Soro off.
Their eyes were red; some kept their heads down, twisting the corners of their clothes, others bit their lips to hold back tears, and a few huddled together, sobbing softly.
"Lord Soro, can you really not stay? Haven't you had a good time here?"
"That's right, that's right! Lord Soro even said he would give me a thorough physical examination! How can you go back on your word?"
"Lord Soro, we can't bear to see you go!"
"Lord Soro, what will we do once you've left?"
As they spoke, these young beauties burst into tears, wiping their eyes incessantly.
Soro stood in the center, surrounded by them.
He looked around at these faces he had spent twenty-five years with, a lump forming in his throat.
At this moment, even Soro's expression softened.
He truly felt reluctant to leave this planet.
To him, this place was home.
"Number One, Number Two, Number Three... Number One Hundred." Soro took a deep breath, stepped forward, and opened his arms. "Once I finish what I need to do, I will come back for you."
He shared a warm embrace with every single one of the beauties.
Some buried their faces in his chest, trembling and unable to speak through their tears.
Some grabbed his clothes and refused to let go, only for him to gently pry their fingers away, just for them to grab hold again immediately.
Others snuck a kiss on his cheek before blushing and hiding behind the crowd.
An hour later.
Soro finally stepped onto his spherical mini-spaceship.
He stood at the hatch, taking one last look at the temple where he had lived for twenty-five years, and at the cat-eared beauties who were still waving and wiping away tears.
The interior of the ship had been tidied up by the beauties.
It had been disinfected, fitted with soft carpets, and thoughtfully stocked with a few changes of clothes and handmade snacks in the corner.
It gave Soro the feeling that the ship had a touch of home.
He took a deep breath, sat before the main console, and pressed the ignition button.
"Whoosh!"
The spaceship instantly broke through the planet's atmosphere.
The intense G-force pressed Soro into his seat as the sky outside the window shifted from purple to deep blue, then into the pitch black of space.
The ship shot into the vast cosmos at incredible speed.
Soro turned his head, looking through the observation window at the shrinking planet Atlantis.
The purple planet grew smaller and more distant in his field of vision.
His gaze gradually sharpened.
I must become stronger.
This planet still needs me to protect it.
There, one hundred family members are waiting for my return.
Soro calmed his emotions and began operating the main console with swift movements.
One minute later.
"Whoosh!"
The spaceship changed course, carving an arc through the vast starry sky and heading toward Earth at high speed.
According to the screen on the console, it would take at least ten days to reach Earth from here.
With nothing to do, Soro lay down to enter a state of sleep.
But he didn't truly fall asleep.
With his eyes closed, he could clearly feel the surging ki within his body.
The passive skill [Combat Power ×50] had completely fused with his body, flowing through every blood vessel like his own blood.
50,000 combat power.
It wasn't considered strong.
But it was enough to pin Vegeta to the ground and rub his face in the dirt.
Soro's lips curled into a slight smile as he slowly drifted into sleep.
Time passed in the blink of an eye, fleeting like a white horse galloping past a crevice.
The tenth day.
Soro opened his eyes.
Through the observation window, he saw that blue planet, familiar to the point of being ingrained in his soul.
Azure oceans, snow-white clouds, and verdant continents.
Earth.
I have arrived!
Soro narrowed his eyes, a smile curling at the corners of his mouth.
I wonder if Vegeta has reached Earth by now?
Waves of anticipation and excitement surged within him; Soro rubbed his hands together and began to maneuver the spaceship to descend into Earth's atmosphere.
Earth, a certain wasteland region.
This place had just endured an incredibly intense battle.
The earth was blasted into several deep craters, with rubble scattered everywhere.
Several corpses lay strewn haphazardly among the debris.
Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, Yamcha!
Several of Earth's warriors had already perished.
Now, only Krillin, Piccolo, and Son Gohan remained alive.
Son Goku was still on his way.
Piccolo hovered in mid-air, his expression growing increasingly grave; veins bulged on his forehead, and cold sweat trickled down his temples.
He gritted his teeth tightly, his gaze locked firmly onto the enemy opposite him.
Krillin also assumed a fighting stance, his legs slightly apart, fists clenched tightly in front of him.
But his body was trembling.
It was not from the cold, but from fear.
That instinctive fear, deep from the marrow of his bones, when facing an invincible enemy.
The person standing opposite them was none other than Nappa.
Nappa stood with his arms crossed, hovering in the air, looking down at them from above with a contemptuous smirk on his face.
"Let's fight on the ground," Piccolo said in a low voice, his eyes never shifting from the enemy. "He is better suited for aerial combat than we are."
Krillin glanced back at Piccolo and gave a slight nod.
"Whoosh!"
Without a moment's hesitation, the two descended from the sky and landed on the ground.
The moment his feet touched solid ground, Krillin felt slightly more at ease.
"Hmph," Nappa let out a scornful, wild laugh. "It makes no difference where you are; it's just a death struggle!"
With that, Nappa moved, diving down from the sky.
His body tore through the air, emitting a sharp whistling sound, bearing down on Piccolo and Krillin with a violent pressure.
"He's coming!" Krillin exclaimed, his body instinctively taking a half-step back.
Piccolo clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles cracking, and bared his teeth, his expression exceptionally heavy.
"Dad!" Son Gohan covered his eyes in fright, not daring to look.
Nappa drew closer and closer to Piccolo and Krillin.
Ten meters.
Five meters.
Three meters.
The pressure grew heavier and heavier, making it almost impossible for Krillin to breathe.
Just then.
"Nappa, wait!"
Vegeta, who had been watching from the sidelines, suddenly shouted.
Nappa was startled for a moment.
Immediately after, he slammed on the brakes in mid-air.
The air exploded into a shockwave in front of him, and his body came to a steady halt in the air, less than two meters away from Piccolo and Krillin.
Piccolo's pupils constricted.
Krillin was also startled, cold sweat beading on his forehead and dripping down the tip of his nose.
Hearing Vegeta speak, Krillin and Piccolo immediately turned their heads to look in his direction.
Nappa also shifted his gaze toward Vegeta, looking puzzled.
Vegeta stood calmly in place, hands on his hips, chin tilted slightly upward, a haughty smirk hanging on his lips.
That smile was like an adult watching a group of ants crawling at their feet.
"What are you doing? Vegeta, why did you stop me?" Nappa asked curiously, a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.
