Saegusa Mayumi directly refuted Watanabe Mari's suggestion. She knew her friend's personality all too well; if she were to act stubborn now, or say something about not caring, Mari would surely recruit Kudo Mitsunobu without hesitation.

"Alright, Shiba, come with me to the Disciplinary Committee office. I'll brief you on your future work," Watanabe Mari said, deciding not to tease Saegusa Mayumi any further.

"Understood!"

Shiba Tatsuya gave a brief word to Shiba Miyuki before following the Disciplinary Committee members away.

The student council members also parted ways at the school gate, as it was quite late and well past the end of the school day.
