On the front-line battlefield
Under Felix's control, the White Ginn quickly maneuvered toward a Drake-class battleship, dodging manually operated beam cannons and electromagnetic railguns. It slipped past the already chaotic Close-In Weapon System defenses and rushed up to the bridge, Heavy Slash Blade gripped in its hand.
Its single eye gleamed, filling everyone on the bridge with terror.
The White Ginn raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in its hands.
Its finger squeezed the trigger, and bullets flew out.
The high-velocity bullets, packed with kinetic energy, struck the bridge with precision.
After a tremendous explosion, the battleship's entire bridge command system was wrecked and disabled. Everyone on the bridge perished in the attack.
Watching from the cockpit as the bridge he had blasted apart came into view, Felix turned and headed for the next battleship.
Not long after Felix flew off in the White Ginn, the Sebastian, a ship from Griffith Squad, moved up in front of the battleship whose bridge had been destroyed.
Its beam cannons took aim and opened fire on the battleship.
A few blasts were enough to completely destroy it.
After taking out the battleship, the ship continued maneuvering alongside Felix's Mobile Suit.
Aboard the Sebastian's bridge
"The captain is incredibly skilled!"
Watching the scene outside in space, tactical officer Wayali exclaimed in admiration.
Captain Yalik heard him and gave a slight smile.
"The captain may well be the strongest individual in the entire ZAFT Forces. His record in the last battle was already outstanding.
And this time, his performance is just as impressive.
So far, he's already destroyed five battleships.
And the number of Mobile Armors he's taken out is far greater than the number of battleships."
Just as Yalik finished speaking, he saw Felix destroy another battleship's bridge command system in his Mobile Suit.
He stopped chatting with the tactical officer and gave the order.
"Fire!"
"Yes!"
Wayali nodded and answered.
Then he immediately gave the order.
"Fire on the battleship ahead!"
At his command, the beam cannons mounted on the Sebastian opened fire on the battleship.
Under the barrage, the battleship, its command system already destroyed, exploded in an instant and broke apart into space debris.
On the battlefield
The White Ginn replaced the magazine of the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in its hands.
Under Felix's control, it turned and opened fire behind itself.
One shot blasted apart a Moebius trying to sneak up from behind.
With that enemy dealt with, the Heavy Assault Machine Gun was stowed at its waist, and another Heavy Slash Blade was drawn.
Felix's fingers tapped across the keyboard as he wrote new code and maneuvering commands.
The White Ginn tested the newly written maneuvering commands, then, under Felix's control, charged toward the front.
It dodged bullets fired by three Moebius units.
It quickly rushed up to one of them, swinging the Heavy Slash Blade in its hand and bringing it down hard on the Moebius.
One slash shattered the Moebius's cockpit, killing its pilot instantly. The Moebius then exploded. Before the explosion, the White Ginn had already maneuvered clear under Felix's control.
It dodged the incoming bullets, then flung the Heavy Slash Blade from its hand as it turned.
The blade struck the Moebius squarely.
The White Ginn quickly maneuvered over and gripped the hilt of the Heavy Slash Blade. With the force of its high speed, it tore the Moebius apart in an instant.
By the time the explosion erupted, the White Ginn had already moved back to safety.
Its attitude-control thrusters adjusted its position.
Then it turned and charged toward the last Moebius in front of it.
It dodged the bullets fired at it, rushed up to the enemy, and brought its blade down, destroying the Moebius.
After destroying it, Felix turned his attention to an Agamemnon-class battleship. Looking at the ship, he increased the thrust of the main thrusters on the White Ginn's back, and it charged toward the battleship at tremendous speed.
Two Moebius units blocked its path as it raced forward.
Gripping the Heavy Slash Blade, it used a dual-blade technique against the two Moebius, swinging a blade with each arm and destroying both at once.
After blasting them apart, it maneuvered around the incoming beam shots and electromagnetic cannon shells without slowing down, continuing toward the bridge.
The battleship's Close-In Weapon System defenses could now only fire wildly, like a headless fly. Eighty percent of their attacks missed their target.
Through this ineffective barrage, the White Ginn reached the bridge of the Agamemnon-class battleship under Felix's control.
Looking at the bridge in front of him, he could see the crew inside on the screen. Without the slightest hesitation, he opened fire with the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.
Two shots were enough to take out the battleship's bridge command system.
After blasting it apart, Felix piloted the White Ginn away at high speed.
The Sebastian followed behind Felix to finish the job, training its beam cannons on the bridge of the Agamemnon-class battleship, now without a functioning command system, and opening fire.
Inside the World Tree
"Commander, our front line is on the verge of collapse under the ZAFT Forces' attack, and our losses are severe. Two white Mobile Suits in particular have displayed immense strength in this battle, inflicting heavy casualties on our forces."
A soldier reported the situation to the commander.
After hearing the report, the commander looked at the screen in front of him and asked, "What are our losses at the moment?"
"Based on our current estimates, we've lost more than a third of our forces, and the number is still climbing. If we keep this up, our entire force could be wiped out."
The soldier reported the estimated losses to the commander.
Hearing how severe the losses were, the commander's face darkened, anger and frustration written across it.
Bang!
He slammed his fist hard against the armrest.
After venting his anger, he issued an order.
"Use signal flares to order the troops to fall back and tighten the defensive line. Prepare to withdraw from the battlefield at any moment."
After giving the order, the commander asked, "How are preparations for the World Tree's self-destruct coming along?"
"Everything has been arranged. Once we've withdrawn, we can activate the World Tree's self-destruct sequence. It will blow up when the countdown ends."
The soldier turned back and explained the situation to the commander.
The commander nodded, rose from his chair, straightened his clothes, and gave an order.
"All remaining personnel inside the World Tree are to evacuate."
With that, the commander was the first to leave.
The other soldiers followed in his footsteps and evacuated.
Soon, the command room was empty.
A few minutes later, the battleships docked to the World Tree finished separating from it, and signal flares shot out from their launch tubes.
