After glancing down at the radar display, Felix looked ahead and continued piloting Creation at an extremely low altitude.
An hour later, Felix brought Creation to a halt, then slowly lowered it onto the lunar surface.
The Meteor's specially fitted landing gear extended, supporting the enormous combined weight alongside Creation's legs.
"Five hours left!"
Felix glanced at the time and murmured to himself, then closed his eyes and quietly waited for the remaining time to run out.
Five hours passed in a flash, and a clear chime rang out inside Creation's cockpit. Felix opened his eyes, checked the time display, and started Creation up again.
Under Felix's control, Creation rose swiftly. Once it reached an altitude of roughly fifty meters above the lunar surface, he pressed both feet hard on the forward pedals.
Powerful thrust erupted from the Meteor's thrusters, sending Creation hurtling forward with the Meteor equipped. It soon broke the sound barrier.
Looking at the speedometer, Felix pressed the forward pedals down even harder.
Aboard the Earth Alliance fleet's flagship, a voice asked, "What trick are the ZAFT Forces trying this time?"
Thurman entered the bridge, took a seat, and glanced at Adjutant Landon as the question was posed. Landon turned toward the commander and raised a hand in salute.
"So far, there hasn't been any significant change!"
No sooner had the reply ended than a voice rang out across the bridge, immediately proving it wrong.
"Chief of staff, that special ZAFT mobile suit is nowhere to be found on the battlefield!"
Landon gave an awkward smile.
Thurman glanced at Landon's embarrassed expression, then looked ahead again and immediately issued an order.
"Locate that special ZAFT mobile suit!"
"Yes!"
The response rang out across the bridge.
The order was carried out as quickly as possible.
