They cut through the sky and struck a Vanguard Fighter streaking past to the left.
The bullets pierced the Vanguard Fighter's rear propulsion system.
With its propulsion system disabled, the Vanguard Fighter fell uncontrollably toward the ground.
Felix piloted the White Ginn into the attack, drawing the Heavy Slash Blade and bringing its razor-sharp edge down on the Vanguard Fighter's nose.
One slash killed the pilot instantly.
The Vanguard Fighter exploded a moment later.
The Guul's attitude-control flaps and nozzles worked in tandem with the White Ginn's thrusters and attitude-control nozzles, rapidly adjusting their combined flight posture in an instant.
They moved so quickly that the attacks from behind missed completely.
Bullets whizzed past, and the White Ginn raised its gun and fired.

A bullet burst from the muzzle.
The Vanguard Fighter's pilot maneuvered to dodge, but the fighter couldn't move fast enough. The bullet struck its left wing.
The Vanguard Fighter immediately lost the ability to maintain its flight posture.

The White Ginn continued firing, finishing off all three Vanguard Fighters.
Once that was done, Felix looked toward the other fronts.
Taking in the battlefield before him, Felix spoke over the comms.
"Some of you, come with me! We're making a rapid drop to take out Victoria Spaceport's ground-based defenses!"
With that, he piloted the White Ginn into a dive toward lower airspace.
The ZAFT Forces' MS pilots who heard his transmission reacted immediately. Eighteen Ginns responded and followed Felix down into lower airspace.
The Eurasian Federation and South American Union forces tried to intercept them.
Several Vanguard Fighters flew in, but before they could get far, the Ginns fighting in that airspace took them out.
"Your opponents are us! Don't even think about stopping Captain Griffith and the others!"
Heine sat in the cockpit and let out a cold laugh.
He piloted his Ginn on, continuing to fight in the airspace.
Meanwhile, on the other side
With no outside force to impede them, Felix and the others descended lower and lower, eventually reaching an altitude of about two thousand meters.
Just as they were about to continue their descent, they met another obstacle.
Dozens of Vanguard Fighters darted through the airspace.
Bullets from their cannons blocked Felix and the others' way.
Felix piloted the White Ginn to dodge the attack.
He raised his gun and squeezed the trigger.

In the face of the barrage, Felix maneuvered the White Ginn through the web of fire, making minute adjustments to dodge one bullet after another.
As he dodged, he raised the Heavy Assault Machine Gun.

One flew at extreme speed, crossing the flight path of a Vanguard Fighter. Its pilot hadn't even reacted before the bullet pierced the fighter.
A secondary explosion swallowed the fighter in an instant, killing the pilot on the spot.
There wasn't even a chance to escape!
After downing that Vanguard Fighter, Felix shifted the White Ginn's gun and kept firing.
Two or three shots were all it took to take down the two remaining Vanguard Fighters attacking him.
With those two down, Felix surveyed the situation and gave an order.
"I'll handle the remaining Vanguard Fighters. The rest of you keep descending and destroy Victoria Spaceport's air defenses, so our ground forces can land!"
"Yes, Captain!"
The Ginn pilots who had followed Felix responded and broke away from the battle.
The Vanguard Fighters tried to pursue them.
Felix used his firepower to destroy the pursuing fighters.
As he shot them down, he saw more Vanguard Fighters closing in on him, even more than the three he had just faced.
He kept working the controls.
The White Ginn maneuvered constantly in the sky.
It dodged attack after attack, while its own guns fired again and again.
Unlike the enemy's shots, which all missed, every shot Felix fired hit its mark.

Felix fixed his gaze on the Vanguard Fighter that had lost control and squeezed the trigger.
The first shot disrupted and baited it; the second hit with precision.
Explosive flames swallowed the terrified pilot.
After taking him out, Felix turned and fired at the two other directions.
The bullets disrupted the two Vanguard Fighters' attack patterns. Taking advantage of the opening, Felix made a quick adjustment, considering his next move.
