With the new tactical arrangement complete, Felix maneuvered the White Ginn through the air. He dodged the incoming bullets, turned, and opened fire on one of the Vanguard Fighters.

BOOM!

An explosion erupted in the sky.

The number of Vanguard Fighters besieging Felix instantly decreased by one.

Seeing their comrade perish, the remaining Vanguard Fighter pilots wore grave expressions, yet they continued to maneuver their craft and fire upon the White Ginn.

Firepower rained down from all directions!

The Vanguard Fighters swarmed around the White Ginn like locusts.

A Vanguard Fighter surged forward, intending to attack the White Ginn at close range. Sensing his intent, Felix piloted the White Ginn to evade the incoming rounds.

He seized the moment and maneuvered toward the Vanguard Fighter.

The Heavy Slash Blade was gripped in hand, and the long blade descended upon the aircraft.

The nose and fuselage were instantly sliced in two.

The two halves plummeted toward the ground, exploding in mid-air after falling just over a hundred meters.

Having dealt with that one, the White Ginn turned and opened fire.

Bullets left the chamber, flying at ultra-high speeds to strike a Vanguard Fighter. After finishing that one off, the White Ginn maneuvered to dodge, narrowly avoiding the incoming barrage.

Approximately one hundred meters above Victoria Spaceport.

A Fiber-Optic Optical Reconnaissance Aircraft was transmitting the status of the airspace.

The silhouettes of over a dozen Ginns appeared on the optical sensors carried by the reconnaissance aircraft, and the situation was relayed to the ground via fiber optics.

The command center had yet to react.

The dozen-plus Ginns scattered, aiming their weapons and firing at all the reconnaissance aircraft.

In just a minute or two, the command center once again lost its grasp of the situation in the sky.

"Commander, all our reconnaissance aircraft have been destroyed! We have currently lost control of the aerial situation."

A soldier turned to report to Humphrey.

Humphrey sat in his chair, his face calm yet grave, and issued his orders.

"Order the anti-aircraft gun defense system to initiate an attack! Use the Redundant Optical Sensor Targeting System for targeting!"

"Yes!"

The communications officer replied.

The order was quickly transmitted down the line.

The combat department operating the anti-aircraft guns began to act according to the command.

One by one, the anti-aircraft guns swung into action.

They utilized the Redundant Optical Sensor Targeting System mounted on the guns to lock onto the enemy aircraft in the airspace.

The anti-aircraft guns rotated continuously, yet they did not fire.

"These guys are moving way too fast; our Redundant Optical Sensor Targeting System can't lock onto them steadily at all."

An operator growled, his face twisted with frustrated anger.

Upon hearing this, the squad leader darkened his expression and spoke sternly.

"Even if you can't aim precisely, you will open fire, or the only thing waiting for us is death."

"Yes!"

The operator responded and began firing the anti-aircraft guns.

The Multi-Barrel Anti-Aircraft Guns opened fire toward the sky, sending shells streaking upward.

High above in the sky.

The Ginn pilots watched the shells rising from the ground.

They maneuvered their Ginns with ease, effortlessly dodging the anti-aircraft fire, which lacked any real accuracy.

While evading, the Ginns opened fire with their Heavy Assault Machine Guns.

Bullets rained down toward the anti-aircraft guns below.

BOOM!

An explosion rang out.

An anti-aircraft gun was blown to pieces.

BOOM!

Another explosion rang out.

Another Anti-Aircraft Gun at Victoria Spaceport was reduced to scrap.

"Die! You damn Naturals!"

A voice filled with intense hatred and fury roared from the cockpit of a Ginn pilot.

The pilot maneuvered the Ginn into a steep dive toward the ground below.

In moments, it reached an altitude of only forty or fifty meters.

At this height, the pilot pulled the trigger, and the Heavy Assault Machine Gun in the Ginn's hand opened fire.

Bullets erupted from the muzzle.

It blew up one Anti-Aircraft Gun while simultaneously destroying two Close-In Weapon Systems.

After taking those out, the pilot aimed the muzzle directly at an Anti-Air Missile launch site and opened fire.

Bullets tore through the air and struck the target.

BOOM!

An even more violent explosion erupted near Victoria Spaceport.

The flash of this explosion was many times larger than the others.

"There are still Anti-Air Missiles inside those launch tubes!"

Seeing this, the pilot communicated the situation to his comrades. Upon hearing this, some of the attackers shifted their focus toward the launch tubes.

Inside the Victoria Spaceport Defense Force Command Center:

"Commander, the defensive fire from the Anti-Aircraft Guns and Close-In Weapon Systems is not yielding ideal results. Our defensive line is being gradually eroded!"

The communications officer turned to report the incoming data to Humphrey. Humphrey nodded slightly upon hearing this, remaining silent as he sat in his chair, contemplating the situation they would face if things continued this way.

In the higher airspace:

The White Ginn darted through the sky, its Heavy Assault Machine Gun continuously spitting out bullets.

The projectiles flew through the air, destroying a Vanguard Fighter.

After downing the Vanguard Fighter, the pilot banked to dodge an attack, raised his weapon, and fired.

The first shot disrupted the enemy, and the second claimed the kill.

The Vanguard Fighter exploded in mid-air.

"Three left!"

Felix muttered as he looked at the number of Vanguard Fighters displayed on his screen.

Just as he was about to continue firing, Heine and the other ZAFT forces, who had been fighting at an altitude of five thousand meters, descended to this level.

Three Vanguard Fighters facing over a hundred Ginns were like mice in a cat's den—there weren't enough to go around.

In just a few seconds, they were completely wiped out.

Seeing that the last three had been cleared, Felix piloted the White Ginn toward the lower airspace.

In the low-altitude airspace of Victoria Spaceport, a dozen Ginns had already pushed the port's anti-aircraft fire to the breaking point. Now, with Felix and over a hundred others descending into this sector, the entire defensive network of Anti-Aircraft Guns and Close-In Weapon Systems became even harder to sustain.

Explosions occurred one after another inside and around Victoria Spaceport.

Inside the Victoria Spaceport Defense Force Command Center:

"Commander, our Anti-Aircraft Guns and Close-In Weapon Systems are all destroyed. We no longer have any forces left to stop these ZAFT troops."

A voice filled with utter despair came from the reporting soldier.

Humphrey sat in his chair, his spirit visibly wilting the moment he heard those words.

An aura of defeat spread over Humphrey.

"Is Victoria Spaceport really going to fall just like this?"

Staring ahead, Humphrey muttered the question to himself.

There was no response to his self-reflection.

At this moment, in the low-altitude airspace of Victoria Spaceport:

Seeing that Victoria Spaceport no longer had any anti-aircraft fire left, Felix contacted the forces in low Earth orbit via laser communication.

"The anti-aircraft power of Victoria Spaceport has been completely destroyed. You are cleared to deploy ground troops!"

"Copy that!"

Two simple words echoed back through the comms.
