"By the way, what happened to the people who used to run the country?"
"We screened the rank-and-file staff. Those who were suitable were allowed to remain in their posts, while those who weren't were dismissed and given severance pay.
As for the senior officials, we purged and dismissed all of them to ensure that power at the top remained in our hands."
