Background / History

Seneya is encountered in the Forgotten Grassland in a werewolf form. Ancestor Morse identifies her as a cursed person rather than an animal and reveals that she has been arranged as Kas's wife. Although Kas initially calls her Miss Aowu, Nosa later reveals her name as Seneya. 4 9

While travelling with Kas and Morse, Seneya befriends Nosa, who can understand her howls. Nosa recognizes Seneya as someone similarly isolated by a curse and becomes deeply attached to her. 9 16 18

Nosa attempts to persuade Seneya to remain in the forest, arguing that humans will always fear and despise her. Seneya ultimately chooses to leave with Kas and seek a cure, affirming that she has found warmth with him. 18

After Nosa's death, Seneya loses the only person able to directly understand her speech. She nevertheless continues travelling with Kas toward Ferode Canyon and the Great Shaman, where Kas hopes her curse can be lifted. 19 23 37
