Sonoko stuck out her tongue and said to Shin, "I know. I was just joking."

Shin merely chuckled at Sonoko, disbelief clear in his eyes. He obviously still thought she was stupid, making Sonoko puff out her cheeks in irritation.
"Heiji Hattori is such a jerk. I really want to teach him a lesson." Sonoko clenched her little fists, wondering whether she should find someone to beat Heiji Hattori up.
"Oh, right. Didn't we agree to go hiking this weekend? Shin will be coming with us too," Sonoko said to Ran and the others.
"Really?" Ran's face lit up with excitement.
Ran and the others had originally wanted to invite Shin, but they had been afraid he would refuse. They had not expected him to actually agree.
"Of course he's going. There'll be pretty girls there, after all." Akako gave Shin a meaningful glance. In her mind, his image as a lecher had already been firmly established.

Akako gently shook her head. She still had some things to do, such as studying magic.
