"This is really boring." Chen picked up a glass of wine and drank alone in a corner.
Just then, Ai Haibara walked over carrying a piece of cake and sat down beside Chen.
"You're not interested either?" Chen asked Ai Haibara.
"Yeah, I'm not interested in that sort of thing." Ai Haibara nodded lightly. She had never liked jewelry.
"Did you see Conan Edogawa and Heiji Hattori?" Ai Haibara looked up and asked Chen.
Chen was slightly taken aback before saying, "You mean Conan Edogawa and Heiji Hattori came too?"
"Yeah, I saw them earlier. Professor Agasa was with them too. They probably came with Professor Agasa," Ai Haibara said with a nod.
Chen nodded but paid it no further mind. Whether those two had come or not had nothing to do with him. He simply did not care about them.
"Why aren't you reacting at all?"
"What reaction? What does them being here have to do with me?" Chen shot Ai Haibara a glance, finding her question rather baffling.
"Didn't you say they were both Grim Reapers? Now that they've come here together, something might happen."

"Mmm, it tastes pretty good." Chen nodded in satisfaction.
