Shin sprawled directly across the desk. No matter what Sonoko asked, he refused to answer, leaving her puffing up in anger.
As for asking Ran, Sonoko had already done that before. But no matter how she asked, Ran would not tell her why she had changed so much.
"I-I think I understand now." Kazuha glanced between Shin and Ran, then lowered her head and spoke softly.
"Kazuha, you understand?" Sonoko looked at Kazuha with a face full of question marks.
"Sonoko, I think it's better not to tell you." Kazuha looked at Sonoko. Though she understood what had happened, she still had no intention of telling Sonoko.
Because something like this was simply too embarrassing to tell Sonoko about, and she also had to consider Ran's feelings.
"Kazuha, do you really know?" Ran asked Kazuha awkwardly.
Kazuha stared at Ran and nodded lightly. Ran's changes had been so obvious, and combined with some knowledge Kazuha had picked up, she had guessed it all.
"Don't worry, Ran. I won't go around saying anything." Seeing Ran's embarrassed expression, Kazuha reassured her.
Ran nodded at that and said nothing. However, she quietly reminded Kazuha that she absolutely could not let Sonoko find out.
Sonoko simply could not keep a secret. If she found out, the whole school would probably know before long. Ran did not want to see that happen.
"I know." Kazuha nodded at Ran. After all, she had known Sonoko for quite some time and understood her well.
"What are you two whispering about?" Sonoko looked at them with some dissatisfaction. She had no idea what they were whispering about, and she could not hear them either.
